I’ve met people at conventions and kept in touch on facebook/tumblr. I only go to one con a year but its a small ish convention with 2 fandoms and everyone’s there for the same reason so it’s easier to talk to people when you already have some common ground.

I’m re-reading The Figment Wars Through The Portals by David Lord and it is fantastic. Its a YA fantasy and the first in a trilogy, and the only book since the last Harry Potter to keep me up all night to finish it and I’ve read hundreds of books in between. Tbh this sounds amazing for me, I love coffee and can’t have caffeine due to medication so I can never drink it unless I’ve made it myself just in case of accidental caffeination. Just a shame I’m in England really.
