Funny story. A guy was hurt in a helicopter crash and sued the manufacturer. He got a lot of money from their insurance company. The helicopter manufacturer changed the way it makes helicopters to make them safer.

I’m a lawyer and appalled at some of the comments here. I believe if a company or operator in cases like these was negligent, they should be held accountable. So that it doesn’t happen again. We wouldn’t have the rigorous health and safety standards we have today if people hadn’t used the justice system to ensure

OK, never spend $18 on a grilled cheese, but melted cheese is melted cheese. It’s all good. And good cheese still makes a good grilled cheese. You can even add a slice of American in combination with something fancier.

I'm picturing her housekeeper, fully aware that Martha is going to sneak a piece of cheese, purposely putting extras in the drawer because she knows Martha wouldn't be caught dead with it in her actual pinterest worthy fridge and she kinda feels bad for her.

So once I got to the store, I realized that there’s the Little Debbie Honey Buns, which do have cinnamon and are delicious, and then there’s the LD Texas Cinnamon Roll, so I wasn’t sure which one to choose. So obviously I had to buy both, right?

Report back pls

I’m literally leaving my office right after I send this reply, going down the street to one of the neighborhood convenience stores, and getting a Little Debbie Cinnamon Bun and some Kraft singles. I believe Rick Ross probably knows a thing or two about this subject, and I have crap eating habits.

Don’t be fooled by Maples’ bargain basement $250/hr. “shamanic healer”. I mean, what kind of cleansing do you think you’re going to get for that price? Folks, remember the ancient wisdom - “One gets what one pays for.” Come on down to CosmicSouls N’ Go! Sure we’re a bit more than the “other guy”. Soul scrubbing start

Come on.

I don’t practice law in California - but considering how public her suit is, I doubt the intention is to get damages before the other victims because the other victims know she is doing this. Generally with multiple victims, defendants wont settle until they know all the claims that will be made against them. If there

What exactly is she hoping to get out of suing the pilot’s estate? I feel like it’s in poor taste, when you presumably have an enormous fortune, to sue the (presumably significantly less well-off) family of the deceased, not when you’re already suing the employers of the pilot.

On the last question, she's suing his estate.

It looks like Vanessa is suing the company that employed pilot for letting him fly in the first place despite a citation against him back in 2015. It’s like suing a hospital for letting an unqualified doctor operate on you, or suing a contractor for burning your house down when a poorly-trained electrician tried to

Pete is a puppy.

write a note in sharpie on the lid!

I eat more peanut butter straight out of the jar with a spoon than I do on a sandwich. It’s too good.

Peanut butter is a peak-human invention. There are few things in this world that we got just so, so right -but peanut butter is one. It’s the only condiment I’ll eat unaided*. A spoonful dipped in hot cocoa mix is an instant Reese’s.

For me? Limes. Mexican, Thai, Vietnamese (pretty much any cuisine in southern or southeast asia) need that extra acidity and floral quality you can only get in a lime. I don’t use nearly as many lemons, but when I do, I use a lot of them at once (lemon curd, for instance).

You don't actually steal lemon zest and leave the lemon, right? That was a joke, RIGHT?

I don’t know why anyone would complain about life handing you lemons. I love a handout!
