Ho-hum. Another day, another chance for Wendy to be the awful, mean-spirited shit-peddler she always has been. I would rather read a hundred articles about Kylie Jenner than these Wendy updates.

“Hollywood Sex Therapist” is as close as the papers can get to calling her a whore. Even now, when stalking is at least recognized as a conceptual reality, our society will find any way it can to blame the victim.
Or just sticky a chyron to the front page: 0 Days Since Wendy Williams Said Something Sickeningly Insensitive
Fake tattoos aside, I’m a little surprised no one recognized Wu on the job, but then again...no I’m not.
“Hey, happy for you both, and congratulations. But love is a joke, and everything will end painfully. Pre-order now on Amazon!”
Wait why is she talking about when her album is gonna drop at someone else’s wedding shindig lolol
Her shtick is being edgy? I thought her shtick was just being an awful person, with overt misogynist attitudes disguised with a thin veneer of make believe feminism.
Lord, she’s such a shithead. Except when people are making fun of HER, then she really can’t believe that you’d be so insensitive as to make light of her problems... Oh, wait. Still a shithead.
God I am beyond tired of this piece of shit.
Covering the death of Amie Harwick, a victim of intimate parner violence, through the lens of Wendy Williams is grotesque.
Not just out loud, or in public, even, but on television.
Being completely devoid of empathy has been the basis for building a career within right-wing media for decades. There are occasional attempts to pretend that they have empathy, but they always ring hollow.
If the audience actually did remain silent, then you know it had to be really bad. Presumably, they were at her show because they liked her at least a little, and in those situations, I feel like the audience will usually go along with just about anything without stopping to think if it’s tasteless or not.
I hope Wendy knows her radio shtick is going to get her TV show cancelled. You don’t have nearly the same amount of leeway until viewers boycott your sponsors and they cut you.
When your whole shtick is being “edgy” this is the ultimate conclusion.
If that is what she says outloud imagine how fucked up her private thoughts must be.
I was going to ask if she doesn’t have anyone on staff that could’ve told her that this was a lousy idea, but then I remembered her hair and make-up and realised that, no, she does not.
Write a generic ‘Wendy Williams made an offensive joke’ article you can just leave pinned, it’ll always be relevant.
Do you really think your run of the mill strip clubber would recognize Constance Wu?
“Constance” is already a good (but not great) stripper name. It has solid Puritan roots and moral connotations that evoke a delicious irony, but it might be too far out of the current parlance to hit on all cylinders the way “Purity” or “Chastity” might.
