The problem with a Prius is that teen suicide is a rising cause of death.

People who survived tend to have survived.

This is the most compelling argument for why parents shouldn’t buy the most amount of safety features they can that are currently available.

Just look at what happened to Tracy! He’s stuck in an infinite loop.

Because it will condemn them to a life of buying rusted out XJs, and CJ-5s, and if they’re really, really down on their luck, a Compass.

Is it overly cynical of me to think that this was all intentional?

As someone who drives a full size pickup (and used to drive tractor trailers) I can give you one really simple reason: it is far faster and easier to back INTO the parking spot than OUT OF it. Especially if you have an edge spot. I basically only nose in if there’s a pull through spot available, I know I need to load

You’d rather hear me bitch about how long it takes you to get it in, then. Gotcha.

Automotive guilty pleasure? Using and daily driving my Ram 1500 just knowing that it pisses off people like you!

If we don’t back into spaces then we then have to endure your constant bitching about how long it takes us to get out of the fucking space.

I’ve driven in a good portion of Europe. This is not even close to universally true.

Everyone should back in. It is safer for everyone. A parking place is empty reversing into it is less dangerous then reversing into a driving walking path where you have a ton of blind spots regardless of vehicle type. I am sure waiting an extra 30 sec for someone to park will end the world though. Better just pull

I thought not stomping over other’s automotive preferences would have been a prerequisite for this job, but OK. Since I can assume you’re just trolling I’ll not get upset, but I will offer an alternative position. I daily a big ol truck for a number of reasons.

Pickup trucks should not be banned. I do think, however, that the licensing tier is far too lenient.

I would never own a full-sized pickup(except for maybe a SRT10), but warning bells go off when someone starts opining on what everyone else should drive. I can see similar arguments made against V8 ponycars- two inefficient, too big, too powerful, etc. My overriding vehicular ownership philosophy is: What car or

If anyone fucks with Mr. Rogers, they’re going to get dissed harder than yesterday’s coupons on the back seat of the bus. That is all. He is untouchable. For ever. Love love love that guy. He saved public television singlehandedly. Also, he spoke to us on our first day of medical school at the U of

“Rogers’s rhetoric was flimsier...”
I disagree 200%. Half of America still fights to make it legal to fire someone for being gay, and its still done in what, 30 states? Maybe 5% of churches are LGBT friendly, and i doubt its that many.
To hear Rogers talking like that in the 60s is unfathomable.
Obama didn’t even come

I think some people are judging Fred Rogers a little too harshly and not considdering the time of the event. It was the late 1960s, could Fred have done BETTER? I mean, yes, he could have drawn an outright line in the stand and stood up unquestionably for the gay staffer. ...I also probably would never have been

An openly gay cast member on a children’s show would have been an issue ten years ago let alone in 1968.

The Juke is widely considered one of, if not the ugl.. [notices username] ..oh very well then.
