Isn’t that what abusers and gaslighters do though?

Ummm, no, this is a Gen X movie. It coincided with the concept of the “slacker” generation, thus the emphasis on Peter not caring about his job. This movie came out about 10 years into my career and pretty much articulated every frustration I’d ever felt. Also, I went to high school with Mike Judge. 😊

It’s not that they CAN’T do it, it’s that they don’t want to. The thing is...many moms don’t “want” to do it either, but they do anyway. My first husband was exactly like this, and I felt like I was raising three children. I finally decided, if I’m going to be essentially a single mom, I might as well enjoy the perks

“Doing hair” isn’t gender-specific. I’m a mom, and never did my daughter’s hair (other than brushing it, until she was old enough to do that herself). I frankly never saw the point in messing with hair...mine or anyone’s. Keep it simple because there’s more to life than hair.

That’s so sad that you actually believe that! When I was 18, I thought men even five years older than I was were physically repulsive. Like, stomach-turningly unappealing. I love how men want to believe that young women find old, ugly, fat men attractive. They don’t.

This has been the hardest thing for me. I’ve already cut ties with people who are Trump supporters. That was a no-brainer. But I’m extremely disappointed in some of my otherwise smart, liberal/moderate friends who have chosen to stick their heads in the sand. It’s caused me to question relationships with and lose

This describes my brother very accurately.

The “not all Christians” defense.
