We had a 2017 Subaru Outback we bought from Carvana a couple years ago. When we went to the Subaru dealer for an accessory for an upcoming July vacation, we noticed some 2022 Outbacks were just being driven off the truck. They offered us the same dollar amount for our 2017 as what we paid for it in 2019 and we put

I agree, IROC was the shit!

It also has some of the stuff like “Eyesight” and Apple Car Play that you see in it’s more expensive siblings. Who needs a crossover when these are available for less than $20k.

It would be cool to see a big giant motorsports Olympics where F1, Indycar, NASCAR, WEC, IMSA, WRC, NHRA, MotoGP, Stadium Trucks and WoO all get together in the same week.

Lotus Elise is still being sold in the UK, until 2022. Even the Evora in the US is pretty old school. On the Elise you get a bare metal floor and only available with a manual. You don’t get more old school than that! Until a couple of years ago, you could still get an Elise with crank windows!

Any enemy of Trump is a friend of mine. I would rather have someone on the inside of Trump world see the light and give them a much deserved betrayal, than stand fast with him.

$7800 Navaho? That will be a Navano!

For some reason, I go went through stock bottom brackets like candy, especially the Shimano ones. Both the Shimano XT in my mountain bike and the Shimano 105 in my road bike have needed to be replaced after a few years of regular use.

The late C3 Corvettes, especially the 1980-82. A heavy, ill handling 190 hp, automatic transmission only pig, with the build quality of a kit car. It is amazing how the Corvette has re-emerged as a real sports car after hitting the depths of a boulevard cruising slug.

You must have never been to Florida!

I’m not part of the GTA world or even have the skills to do any better in the real world, but why does the finish of the paint have an orange peel look to it?  Is that intentional?  None of my 13 year old son’s Forza creations have orange peel?

That is a hard one, because I remember a lot of unliked cars from my childhood that are now have a collector or cult status. With the Radwood and overall 80s-90s nostalgia, there are some fairly regular going for crazy money. Some of the ones that come to mind are AMC Pacers, Chrysler K-Car based cars, Chrysler

I like how the auto-off will shut the car off when I have the brake down after pulling into my driveway. After I put the car in park and let off the brake, the car automatically turns on again, so I have to shut the car off again. That does not seem fuel or mechanically efficient.  I turned that feature off.

I do not understand how car companies spend billions of dollars and man hours on research and development of their product, yet they allow the customer experience at the point of sale to be such a shit show.

I grew up in the central Ohio area. Ricart had enough of these gimmicks over the years to write a whole book.  There was buy a car, get a Festiva for free.  Get a guitar, vacations and all kinds of other stuff.

I came here to post this.

These things would sell in the US.

Auburn/Cord/Duesenberg would be my call. They were on the Parthenon of great cars of all time and the hypercars of their day. They were raced at Indy, owned by captains of industry and seen in Hollywood’s biggest stars. Without The Great Depression and shady financial dealings by E.L. Cord, there might be a Duesenberg

I had an ACR Neon. Even though I wanted a GTI or an Integra, there were no dealers in my small town. Right when I was ready to get the Integra, the local Dodge dealer happened to have an ACR sitting on the lot. It was seen by their customers as a stripped, spartan Neon. With that, I got a good deal and enjoyed the

As someone with a 30 day tag on a 2022 Subaru Outback, with $600 in optional rubber floor, hatch and other coverings, I agree 300%. Elements were one of the few SUV’s that were actually fully suited and practical for people who actually do outdoor activities. When they were discontinued, I have a friend who bought 2
