For decades, especially since the start of restrictor plate racing, many drivers hate Daytona and Talladega.  Some have suggested bulldozing degrees of banking off the track, taking those tracks off the schedule or filling them up with water and making them into a fishing lake.  From a technical standpoint, NASCAR and

Yep, it was a typo.  I meant to add another 0 to the back of that $200.  That tells you how stupid expensive they are.

Thanks for pointing out my typo. I definitely meant to add another zero there.

I have a project 1995 XJ Cherokee that I inherited. At one point, I considered “overlanding” it. After more thought, I would rather use the camping gear part of the budget on replacing and upgrading my older backpacking gear, rather than buying a $200 roof tent that would require me to climb off the roof of the car to

I wonder how many of these guys were able to get jobs and retrain at BMW and Mercedes factories after the reunification?

In 1995, I went to buy my first new car.   At the Jeep/Dodge dealership, the three “cheap first new car” in the $12,000 to $15,000 price ranger were the Neon, Dakota and Wrangler. The Neon had a little more equipment than the other two, but it was great that your first new car could be something fun like a Jeep

By putting boring shit like this in the same showroom as Corvettes and Camaros, it is like they are trying to rub it in that adulthood is forcing you to buy a crossover.

The design has aged well.  Ford puts a lot of money on the hood for these cars and many are fleet sales, but that is nothing new for Ford or any of the Big 3.

I will take an airplane engine with a smidgen of car on the side.

If I were in the market for another hatchback, I would have definitely considered the Civic hatchback, or maybe go crazy and get a Mazda 3.  I had a pretty open mind on some other wagons and SUV’s, but the Outback fit a good happy medium between what I liked about hatchbacks, while giving us the space and utility we

I had a 2015 Focus that had transmission troubles. Last June, I unexpectedly got in a wreck and totaled it. We needed something bigger for family vacations, the kids Scout campouts and other things you do with 2 school age kids. With all lack of reliability of our Focus, replacing it with an Escape, Explorer or

Former MINI owner here (2003 Cooper). I would probably buy one if it still had the same dimensions as my old Mini. It’s cool that they have the Countryman and the other larger ones, but at least one of their models should still be um...mini. The current Cooper looks like a regular smallish car with retro styling. MINI,

When Ford wanted to make a front wheel drive Mustang, they changed their mind and called it a Probe. Maybe they should do the same with this Mustangish mobility thing.

I bought an Outback for our family car from there.  The first one we took delivery on had some unacceptable cosmetic flaws.  We got online and ordered another one.  They let us drive the first one for the few days while we waited for the second one.  All and all, it was a good experience for us.  I could see where it

Complete with a neckbeard.too.

On the rare occasion I go to our local upscale mall, I always see a decent crowd at the Tesla store. Little side boutique showrooms placed in the town’s entertainment district might work. People amble by to check out the nifty French cars while they pay $6 for an ice cream cone.  Have the retail be with other upscale

It looks like the buyer will need to repair the A.C. and the Cowlings.

Our last Outback, which as a 2002 model was horrendous in fuel mileage. We just bought a new Outback. Compared to other AWD vehicles with the same interior space and cargo capability, it’s fuel mileage is pretty good. We are averaging 29.7 in everyday driving, which is great for a car of it’s capability.

I am pretty disappointed in Subaru, since I just bought a new Outback. For the size and capability of car, it is still a good choice for my family from a fuel efficiency standpoint. There are not a lot of roomy all wheel drive station wagons, with SUV interior space that averages 29.7 mpg from Ford, Honda, BMW and VW

As a former Charlotte resident, I really do not recall how a race weekend was a “catastrophe” compared to Panther home game weekend. I guess a Renault F1 engine blowing up is worse for the environment than a Dolphins quarterback getting sacked. Maybe they are worried about what will happen when they hold an event at
