Three wheelers, all of the danger of motorcycles with none of the fun.

Isn’t it crazy how scared they are of pretty much the entire modern world? They like to frame it as angry or indignant (if they knew what the word meant), but really they’re just scared little bitches lashing out at anything they don’t understand. It would be sad if it weren’t for the people in power encouraging them

Fair

That’s $200k and you still have $200k left. You think that’s Ramen noodles money???

FFS, just leave your seatbelt on when seated.

The buying “hack” of keeping a car for a long time after the finance period works a lot better if you let somebody else eat the first two years of depreciation.

Meh, she didn’t buy a Fisker--now that choice would’ve been a truly huge mistake.

Don’t do it dirty like that. The F-type is 100x better looking lol

Tesla Supercharger charges a $1/minute fee if you haven’t returned to your car within 5 minutes of it completing and the station is more than half full.

A 10% new car EV sales rate is almost doubling the current rate. So, stop acting like it would be some small increase.

I think they meant that you don’t know how long the person in front of you is going to take to charge.

Even using your numbers. If you just plugged in each night (even without an L4 connection) you’d still be fine.

Yea I’ve told a few people this. A 40amp charger is certainly a nice-to-have, but unless you’re a traveling salesman putting a few hundred miles in per day, it’s hardly needed. Average commuters in smaller evs can get-by on 120v outlets just fine, and any kind of 240v means you’ve got plenty of wiggle room.

The parking

So why are you using today’s infrastructure for the next few years sales projections? Do you think infrastructure is going to remain stagnant? Or do you think it’s more likely that it’ll continue to grow?

Yes, but you DO NOT NEED [240v] 40 amps at home to own an EV. Do the math on how much you actually drive in a typical week and how much time your car spends in your garage (car port, etc) and you’ll see that you very likely are able to make do on a simple 15amp 120v outlet like any regular vacuum cleaner. If you drive

I just meant that once you get to the pump it takes you 5 min to fill up from 0-full. That is taking into account getting out, paying then putting handle back, bucking up and leaving.

How far is your drive to work???? I could drive to and from work for two weeks in most EVs, without needing to charge. Hell even a Kia Soul with its 380 km (237 mile) range would only get charged maybe every ten days. I’d just plug it in at night and let it do its thing.

If we were even at 20% new cars as EV sales, public charging would be an absolute nightmare.

“If it is your commuter car, you’d better have a 40Amp+ charger in your garage or dedicated parking space.”

Not hard to believe. After all, you won’t find any coal rollers among cyclists... but you will find some among drivers.
