It baffles me how everyone here can hate on crossovers, calling them “lifted hatchbacks”, but refuse to acknowledge the that, “hatchbacks are slammed crossovers” and are astonished that people out there don’t want to buy them.”

WTF is reason for the horrible photography that only shows 1/4 of the car in each exterior photo or is a 1/8 frame frontal?

This is an astoundingly bad take. Hatchbacks came first. Sedans are terribly impractical compared to hatchbacks. It’s nice for you that you don’t need a hatch, since you don’t like them. but there’s no logic in your argument.

Sure, Dodge had to do an additional few bucks of paperwork to create this $10K sunroof option, but it has already paid off — free publicity for Dodge and their Hardcore Commitment to Racing at Jalopnik (among other places)!

Seriously, a guy who still has a loan on a 2008 vehicle that they value at $19k.

Obscuring a plate does not put anyone at risk, and I don’t think that is the argument being made. The quote itself mentions obscuring your plate so that you can take part in other illegal activity with impunity, including speeding and running red lights, which does generally put others at risk

It’s NYC, blocking the plate number prevents red light cameras, speed cameras and toll stations from seeing the plate. That means you can drive around speeding, running red lights and using all the bridges and tunnels for free. But let’s just skip those for now and think about what happens when there are hit and run

These are the people who run lights and speed without consideration. I assure you that they are just as dangerous as the asshats in Altimas.

What’s the over-under on this being a NYPD employee or relative of one?

That’s a truck that says “he’s on a debt quest chasing clout!”

Having watched the video, a Raptor would have laughed at that dip.  If it were a living thing, of course.

Thank you for that information. Seems like it would have been good stuff for them to include in the article. ;)

A kitted out van is going to be $100k+, but you can DIY today off a standard Transit, so the question is why you would opt for the “Trail” model, and what the extra cash gets you.

“That’s a big ask despite the impressive specs”

It will also be capable of playing games that you can’t play on the Quest 2 without a PC.

To add some perspective: $549 is actually significantly cheaper than other headsets with similar features, and PSVR2 beats many of those on other specs.

Yeah, I’m sure the company is still bad. But probably not “force ten year old rape victims to have a baby” bad.

Welp, there goes any sympathy I had.

At least we can agree on that.

I’m rooting for this thing, but with the Maverick hybrid offering 40 MPG, I hope Hyundai is rushing to put the Tucson hybrid drivetrain in this. The first one to market with AWD + hybrid is going to crush it.
