Because the posers buying the automatic will find louder more desirable.

I’m pretty sure I won’t even bother starting to watch Boba Fett 2. Man, was that show a letdown. Horrible time to be a completist.
$15k, space for toys and sleeping. The answer (that no one wants to hear) is clearly minivan.
Well, there’s no shortage of the supply of stupid people, we can agree on that.
This looks good. Hope it comes out for consoles.
You are correct, there are always stupid people, BUT you don’t have to be one of them. You can refuse to buy cars with dealer markup or cars (or PS5s for that matter) from scalpers. Anyone doing that is part of the problem.
I guess if they want to appeal to the posers, an automatic would be good...
Not really far faster than anyone would have guessed. Check out Cadillac Desert written in 1986. And for a fun fictional take on it, check out Water Knife by Hugo-award winning author Paolo Bacigalupi.
Put the firing squad in bikinis and really nail the bounce physics for recoil, with slow-mo replays of course. I’m sure it will be a hit.
I think the bigger problem is they’re all advertising the 40mpg, then creating a lot of additional friction for even being able to purchase that model. No dealers will stock the hybrid model that gets 40mpg, only special order, and you know they’ll be trying to upsell the Ecoboost models off the lot. “Well, if you…
Do any drivers actually care if it doesn’t even have a manual available?
I do not disagree. Just lightheartedly pointing it out.
You’re probably right, not my area of expertise. I still think going above 120hz is well into the realm of diminishing returns. Like perhaps there’s a theoretical benefit, but if you put top players on 144hz monitors and 300hz monitors would actually observe a difference? I don’t think you would. I think the money…
Ah, so it’s like religion.
I sort of feel like if the the refresh rate is much faster than your ping time, it’s not doing you much good. Like a 120Hz refresh rate is a refresh every 8.3ms, not many people have a ping time lower than that. Like if it’s refreshing even faster than there’s any new information to refresh it with, is it doing you…
Just having a 3080 paired with a 1080p display, especially at 17" seems like a questionable choice. If it’s only 1080, they could go with a 3060 or 3070 for performance that would probably be indistinguishable in a blind test. (Not blind, but if gamers switched back and forth between the 3060 and 3080 without knowing…
I do have to agree I thought the same when I saw that. The greatest advantage of PSVR over Quest 2, is how much more comfortable it is, because the weight is distributed well, and it’s not super front heavy like the Quest 2. (The FOV feels quite a bit better than the Quest 2 in practice also, but PSVR certainly has…
Nah, this is just because the ranking is based on hours played, so of course a game like Fortnite that people sink 15 hours a week into is going to end up with more hours played than a single-player game with 6-15 hours of content. If anything, Miles and Demon Souls even making it onto this list show just how popular…
I guess when you’re paying $1k for a phone it’s some consolation to say “at least it’s cheaper than an iPhone.” I’m also looking at a Pixel 6 or Pro. I wish you could get the better camera with the smaller screen. I don’t really want that big of a phone.
It happens, but people usually switch back pretty quickly when they realize they can’t access any of their apps, message history, etc.
