I sold my house 2 months ago to find something with space for 3 cars, mountain bikes and my dirtbike. Unfortunately, all the houses near work are 60+ years old and 2 car garages are rare. They’re usually only found on the bigger, more expensive houses. Hopefully, I can still afford a project car by the time we get the

CP. 5 Similar cars locally for $5k less, including a 2002 911 S for $18.

Great write up. I couldn’t believe how the cost of used trucks, especially in Utah, but I’m banking on it since I ended up with a 6 month old lease-return Tacoma. Still not great around town, but awesome with dirt bike in the back heading out of town. Now I need to find a fun, cheap car for town & track.

Nice work. I rode this trail on a dirtbike and that Squeeze section is scary. There’s no way in hell I’d do it in a car.

Stock splits most likely. He never mentioned when he bought the stock, but if it was pre-iPhone, it was at least 10 years ago and stock has split multiple times since. Since we’re doing math:

You have super-human perseverance.

Look at it this way though, do you want your action movies centered around cars or superheroes in tights?

It’s a drift car. It’s not supposed to grip.

I’m having a hard time picturing Tavarish riding in this thing for 2 blocks, much less 2,000 miles.

Wait, did this asshole post his own dashcam footage of getting pulled over for being an asshole driver? What kind of asshole does that? There’s some sort of Inception level asshole-ness happening here.

Maybe my friend has a heavy foot, but he only get 18-19mpg on his R, about the same as I get with my Tacoma.

I live a few hours away and usually avoid Moab during Jeep week, but if this thing makes it out to Moab, I will drive down and buy you a beverage. You’re a seriously brave man.

This Chevy tailgate step is dumb because the best reason for a step is to put your motorcycle in, which on a shortbed often requires leaving the tailgate down. Have used the step on a friends F-150 and it works pretty good. Sure a motorycle stand works as a step, but can be sketchy and is hard to move with a bike in

Hey look, someone used proper equipment and it worked!

Please not the Infinitis, so ugly.

Bumper on these is actually pretty good, it’s the sheet metal that dents like it’s a beer can. That said, my kid is still driving the one I handed down to him and it’s been bomber.

But what are the odds that 210hp drives a rear-biased AWD system through a 6MT?

Best: my 2007 A4 Avant, fast & fun enough, but sold it to buy the worst, 2016 Tacoma TRD Off-road. The only saving grace is my dirtbike fits in the back. Currently scouring the web to find a decent e30 project car.

“more speed than an off-road motorcycle” are you sure you don’t mean “easier than an off-road motorcycle”.

Yeah, a 250 is not comfortable over 50 mph on road for very long. Not to mention the high performance, sub-400 cc motors require frequent maintenance. You have 3 options, pick 2: low maintenance, high performance and low weight.
