Honestly, I might try using OpenDNS to enable filtering no matter what browser is used. It's actually quite simple to set up and run. The benefits of this would be that 1. FF is updated, meaning better online experience and more secure. 2. All browsers installed get a filter 3. No worry of an extension compatibility.

The only thing I can think of is bookmarklets. But other than that, I think they're worthless.

Most likely because a download is just what you said, convenient. It's much simpler to just download your songs and toss them on your phone/mp3 player, where most cars now have an aux jack. No more fumbling with CD's.

Wouldn't this be easier just to torrent the shows? You are still in possession of an illegal copy once you remove the DRM. This seems like a bit of a hassle.
