    I have a Multistrada Enduro, and can highly recommend the larger tank.. I would buy the Enduro for the larger tank alone - I personally find having to fill up every 150 miles a nuisance, whether it’s a single journey or not.

    I’ve heard of shipping companies having the water in the ballast tanks tested by marine biologists to check for non-native species.     Agreed - currently about a third of the way through reading it, having just completed First Man, and I’m loving it. Really engaging, funny, and very well written. An intelligent, humble, and extremely eloquent man. 

    I’ve done around 3500 miles on a Diavel Carbon, including a lap of the Nurburgring, and I can confirm it’s no slouch, handles way better than you’d expect, but can still plod about slowly too, if that’s what you want.     The Diavel is an absolutely glorious thing, and as with any bike, the throttle goes two ways; an absolute pussycat to ride gently, and a hilarious lunatic should you wish to enjoy the upper ranges of the rev limit. 

    I think you may want to consider changing the title of the article to “Motorcycles have too much power for me”, as clearly what you’re expressing is a personal problem, and not one shared by many owners of powerful bikes.
