Okay, I have to admit I think it’s stunning. From just about every angle, the exterior and interior are aggressive and modern. It’s extremely practical, quick, and high tech. Were I in the market for a $70k luxury crossover, I would at least start the search with this.

1st Gear: Even if Trump weren’t starting a trade war, that wouldn’t save Harley. Harley dug themselves into this hole all by themselves.

I think he means it will be the next Supra in that it will be the next car that people suddenly pay stupid amounts of money for.

No manual transmission.

this is not new and has nothing to do with the supra, the m-clown shoe has been rising in price for a while. Not surprising as low production numbers and an unusual style tend to make a car more valuable in the long run.

Rudder comes stuck hard to port.

120 kW, 350 kW...

I think the price difference was made up for by not having to pay for gas, less maintenance and a longer vehicle life. Or at least that’s what the study is trying to prove.

This guy fucks.

I passed on both a 911 and an E30 M3 back when no one cared.  I also kick myself every day.

In 1999, there were plenty of older affordable Porsches. Heck, even circa ~2007 I had the option to buy a nice, well maintained SC for $12.5K. I passed on it.  Kick myself every day since.

They’re about as common as Honda Civics in Beverly Hills dude, let alone SoCal lol. I see one at least twice a week in San Diego.

I like the Z8 suggestion, and I’m not normally a BMW fan. There was a guy that lived near me in San Diego in the early 2000's that drove one. Pictures don’t do justice to that car, it’s striking in person.

I hope you realize that BMW’s N54 is also an alloy block like the B58, and even without a closed deck can easily be built to produce power in the 800-900hp range on stock internals. They generally have a pretty high reputation for being unkillable motors, save for a few issues on the high pressure fuel injection

Can we stop the 2JZ lovefest? It was a tax bracket engine and Toyota’s limited usage even in Japan shows it wasn’t that great.

I think we all know a Taylor.

I’ve been on track with this very car at englishtown’s raceway park road course. It was fastish (as fast as any evo really), but it smoked heavily and the driver drove it like an asshole (off course and kicking dirt on the track constantly, passing in non-passing zones etc). He was the main reason I stopped going to
