The Outback’s 2.4 turbo replaced the 3.6 NA which has been available for a long time with 256 hp and 247 lb ft. If people wanted extra power then they always had the option, most just don’t need it.  182 hp for a Crosstrek seems fine for the average buyer in that market.

There’s one big issue with your statement about “bringing it the masses” already: it’s a prototype bike. Say it was a fault in the traction control system or the tire had a small puncture from debris earlier that caused a low side. People will draw in accurate conclusions thinking rider error and not see the details

As a former racer, you don’t need to watch anything like that incident to learn from it. Want to know how to properly learn? Get with an instructor at a trackday, take an advanced riding course, read books by Keith Code or Kenny Roberts, etc. Thinking you will learn or be more level-headed from watching his crash is

Just look at the the bead on that front passenger tire. Seriously hooning that Civic.

Edit: misread the initial post.

AKA the “bus-stop” as us locals like to call it. But I believe they had the kink judging by the lap record video Porsche set during that week.

At the risk of spreading rumors, I know someone in the states that put a down-payment for one the other month through a regional sales manager who he had been in contact with for over a year about getting one. He said Audi haven’t officially confirmed it but they are putting in special pre-orders for clients (I

Correct - I should have worded that more clearly, but even vacuum less brake boosters have been used in private applications. Check out the Bosch iBooster. I would assume this is a very similar system or manufactured by Bosch for BMW based on their design.

Electronic vacuum-assisted brake boosters have been an aftermarket option for racing applications for a while now. Most German vehicles, including my 20 year old Audi, even has a vacuum accumulator as a fail-safe for the brake booster. If the system didn’t operate with the engine off then it wouldn’t pass NCAP

And a spot of rust on what looks like the door hinge.  Makes you wonder what the underbody looks like...

RS4 motor didn’t have the same weak chain guides as the S4 V8's, the RS4 is pretty robust in that regard since they used a different material.

My 2002 Audi S4 has alcantara, I take a soft sanding pad to it maybe once a year and vacuum the shavings and it looks like new.  Even if it gets blackened or stained it’s pretty easy to remove with a bit of elbow grease.  When I got my car they were crumbling real bad but maybe 2 hours of work and it looked close to

Reuters reported someone in the investigation for the Ethiopia crash said the plane was doing an unusual 460 mph (ground speed) at 3,000 ft above ground level shortly after take-off. Would the pilot have done this to compensate for the nose diving and try to get the aircraft to climb?

“will these fit 2006 gti with air ride? would you take $2k?

Plenty of turbocharged cars do, especially from German manufacturers. Even the new ‘19 GTI’s make about 30+ tq over hp and the older AMG 65 variants made 130+ more.

I was doing snow donuts in our ‘16 outback with less than 100 miles on it after picking it up from the dealer. Actually a pretty decent vehicle for doing them, at least more comfortable for it than my STI at the time.

Solid diamond block? Gasoline from zebra bones you pick yourself??? Didn’t realize so many peasants lurked in the comments here.

I’ll take a block made from a chondrite meteorite, preferably fallen during the Cretaceous period, running purely on hydrogen reformed from the tears of starving children in Yemen and a

Discerning, as in I am quite partial to how they did the 5 cluster layout and the door cards seem reminiscent of the 930.

Screw the door handle, the engine lid is a joke!

“There it is, in all it’s glory. Two fans, from a gaming PC.”

Although I do really like it overall, there are bound to be bits that are discerning.
