The vertical third brake light, with two parallel bars, is a freaking Pause icon.

I wouldn’t bother trying to judge it until you see it irl, a lot of proportions don’t come out on screen as well as they do in real life. I’m kind of on the same page but I’m going to wait and see.
Same boring intro “this 911 looks like the old 911! I can’t tell the difference! har har har!“ the article templates are getting old.
Ironically, there will be no manual transmission in the alternate reality. Sometimes you just can’t win.
It’s already under 3 seconds. Current Turbo does 2.9 and Turbo S does 2.8.
Just wait until the 911 Turbo S E-Hybrid
Horsepower isn’t everything, the car’s plenty quick anyways. I’m not sure why a number is so important to some folks. If you want something overpowered and absurd, buy a hell cat...
A more modern, sleeker “War of the Worlds” style third brake light would have worked real well with this new body style.
Gotta disagree with you, the vertical third brake light is wicked. Also the new nose and cutline of the hood definitely looks reminiscent of a slant nose, which I also love.
They aren’t renders. The prototypes are real and supposed to go into production as they are.
Could someone add some wood panelling to this?
It’s like if Land Rover made a Ford Flex and used a Renault logo, for some reason.
I dig it.
They are similar in the same way a Lexus IS and a C-Class are.
Imma let you finish but Audi has been fiddling with that general shape since 2010, 2 years before the Model S hit the market. This looks a lot like it is inspired by the 2019 A7, rather than the Tesla.
It’s a design feature that is NOT exclusive to Tesla, nor did they pilot it. Countless cars have had this for years, including Audi.
they all look the same!! But I like the old one not the new one better!
But the shape of the 911 is what makes the 911 what it is: Timeless, Brilliant, and Elegant, yet killer. If anyone was to be in charge of Porsche, I’d bet you they would keep it the same with the same body lines with mature changes, some of them being visible and right there for you to look at. Look at other cars in…
I’m calling it - Porsche has the most successful(and good looking) design language over all its models.
“they all look the same!! But I like the old one not the new one better!!”
”Yo 992, I’m really happy for you, I’ma let you finish, but the 993 had one of the best asses of all time! One of the best asses of all time!”
Yup. Never been a VW zealot, but $3k for any decent drop top that’s not a Sebring seems alright.
