I think you’re making some profound observations, but in both statements you refer to making use of the market value. 1st, to ease our cognitive dissonance, and 2nd, that use market value alone is silly-which I kinda of agree with actually.
But they have maximum overlap, so what now? Or maybe I’m not following your meaning...
Ok, but what you quoted doesn’t exclude my thinking. And also, how do you answer the question following your quote without considering the entire market of Safari Sports Cars to determine fairness?
I thought we were voting about whether or not the price was nice relative to the market -not whether or not we liked it. I think it’s catering to a small market and I think it’s NP.
Where did Elon get the money to finance Tesla and subsequently overpay for Twitter? It didn’t all come from his dad...

Might’ve told this story before but- in my twenties I couldn’t be bothered to crawl in the mud to look at the frame on a 1st gen Isuzu Trooper. The body was immaculate and the frame in the wheel wells seemed ok so how bad could it be? Took it to my mechanic for a (post-buy) inspection and it was so bad he wouldn’t…
