Yeah, either he weirdly escaped punishment or he comes across as kind of an absentee father.

And it must have been tough for her to get back on her feet again after prison with her millions waiting for her.

What you didn't know is that the woman in question is a resentful bigot.

So hire two full-time drivers? Have one full-time driver but then uber when they’re off the clock? Hell, 3 full-time drivers. If you make 10 million a year you’re still not even looking at a significant fraction of your income. So you still wouldn’t need to be a billionaire. I don’t think you realize quite how much

The average salary for a full time chauffeur is around 70,000 a year. You absolutely don't have to be a billionaire to afford one.

I almost didn’t receive your post because of the Limp Bizkit inclusion, but then when I thought about what really makes a bad cover, one of the criteria for me would be it makes not only the song worse, but the band worse. And if you like Limp Bizkit, there’s nothing wrong with Behind Blue Eyes.

First Aid Kit’s version of running up that hill is pretty good.

I would argue that boldly melodramatic is Eddie Vedder's calling card and therefore is a perfect fit.

It wasn't funny, but it does have a certain, I don't know what the right word here is, moodsetting? Homer was always a terrible father. Sure, he'd try to be better, but he'd fail. So I don't see specifically strangling as necessary, I do hope this doesn't mean he's going towards being an actual good father. If the

Somehow even with all the movie pop culture reading I’ve done for the past few decades, I’m only now learning that Tony Scott and Ridley Scott are brothers.

lol

Even ignoring the over simplification of what a socialist believes, he doesn’t live in a socialist society. A person in a capitalist society who doesn’t own things dies. You’re basically saying “He doesn’t live in the type of society he desires so he should die.

The idea that if you’re a socialist living in a capitalist system you should for some reason refuse to make any money is one of the dumber one’s out there. Socialists don’t take an oath of poverty, you know.

Ok. It's not the specific number I was concerned about. Just that a lot of shows I don't need or want 20 hours of in a season.

I don’t agree with needing 22. That seems long for a lot of content. Maybe half hour comedies could do with that many. But I do think a lot of 8 episode seasons end up feeling lacking.

When I first saw The Departed I knew it was a remake, but hadn’t seen Infernal Affairs. My wife, however, was the opposite. She’d seen Infernal Affairs but didn’t know The Departed was a remake. But then as soon as the elevator scene started she grabbed my hand and almost shouted in the theater, I know what happens!

I wouldn't say Brolin's Oldboy is bad. It's just pointless. Nobody was watching the original and thinking, "I wish this was in English." The Oldboy remake just violates rule number one of remakes, don't remake a movie that is still perfect for its target audience.

 Lady Dynamite was great.

Well, a fictional account can still ruin people's reputations. However, in this case it's hard to imagine Dreyfuss' reputation getting any worse.
