That something happens often, or is a normal part of life, doesn’t make not tragic. It’s invariably going to be a part of literally everyone’s story—but it (death) can obviously still be tragic, because it’s very often called “a tragedy.”

There is a massive fucking gulf between holding a company accountable and in sending people death threats.

You, an intellectual: This company has made a few mistakes as far as marketing and PR are concerned. While I don’t fully agree with the sentiment, I can see how death threats directed at their employees are justified.

And Mulaney still doesn’t “do ‘OMG my spouse is terrible’ routines”. Y’all the ones out here getting parasocial and trying to make this dramatic/tragic.

You’re very brave, standing up for folks making death threats

And therefore they deserve all of this?

I’m glad Tendler is finding the time and space to express herself and make silly videos, and I hope she gets a jillion followers, meets someone new, and is fabulously happy (same goes for Munn and Mulaney.)

Death threats and harassment isn’t trolling.  That’s where you’re going wrong.

your take is sickening and you’re a monster for suggesting this.

Log off, dude. Jesus Christ.

Assholes like you are the problem.

Yeah gonna be honest with you, Death Threats arent really trolling.

This is a pretty crap take. No one for any reason should be sending death threats to a game dev studio cause of some, “bait and switch” as you put it, tweets. It’s a video game, take it easy.

If you send death threats over a video game, whatever about it, you’re a piece of shit and you deserve crabs and lice at the same time.

You didn’t say anything multiple times?

The comments on this story are a fucking septic tank, but the people who’ve decided to use their limited time on this earth to publicly declare their opinion that this video game company is probably lying about death threats for clout really need to do some serious introspection.

Of all the takes to have regarding video game programmers receiving DEATH THREATS, (i.e. literal THREATS of DEATH) from video game players, “They were asking for it” is certainly one of them...

Full co-sign. The fact that people are debating under which circumstances it’s permissible to threaten someone’s life demonstrates how completely they’re missing the point.

I’m trying to picture what a worthless turd someone has to be to be sending death threats over a video game. Their entire existence was a fucking mistake.

On PS4.
