You need to get out and touch grass if people enjoying a show is infuriating you and causing you to “project” on to other people. Also who cares if you prefer a clever comeback or not, particularly since absolutely none of yours were...

Mitch, your “rules for thee but not for me” comment doesn’t really make sense here. Also, that phrase is a bit of a giveaway. Seems like you’re wearing your red hat a bit too tight...

Wait...let me make sure I understand this.  YOUR taste in TV is the gold standard now? Fascinating. “The Boys” is good and “The Acolyte” isn’t because you say so? Your wisdom on what’s “well done” must be a real eye-opener for the rest of us with our “trash taste.”

I didn’t defend the Acolyte, son. I just pointed out the irony of the constant complaints about its “politics” when there are none, juxtaposed against a claim that a FUCKING OBVIOUS POLITICAL SATIRE is “mindless fun.”

I didn’t bring up the Acolyte. I responded to a doofus bitching about that show while claiming that the Boys was free of politics.

My comment was about how fucking stupid someone has to be to call the Acolyte political and the Boys not, not about the comparative quality of the shows.

Can you imagine the level of obliviousness that would lead one to think that the Acolyte is pushing a political agenda and the Boys is just mindless fun?

The conspiracy loons were typing themselves in knots after the first 3 episodes of season 4 dropped. Episode 2 really kicked the hornet’s nest. They’ve been review bombing season 4 on sites like Rotten Tomatoes.

not to be mean but regardless of how gruesome transformers is for an animated kids movie, the fact that that was your reference point for gore and violence suggests yah the boys was never gonna be your cuppa

Go woke, go broke

Even the MAGA dipshits love it, despite being too stupid to realize it’s about them

He said, without irony.

They caught on that they were the butt of the joke this year.

Yeah I felt crazy after I read that Polygon article. I couldn’t figure out if they had totally missed the point of the episode or I did. At least this reviewer seems to have watched the same show I did.

I’m staggered that the takeaways about this episode (from competent writers) seems to be “that’s not how fires work” versus “boy there’s a lot of subjective point of view and something is very off here.”

There many thousands of people with full sized trucks who can comfortably park at their apartment buildings with properly sized parking spots.

It's a dumb guy with a CyberCuck story.

I wish I could take credit for it, but I’ll settle for helping spread it around.

Love the “incEl Camino”!

Hah! Fuck this guy, and everyone else who buys an incEl Camino.
