Agreed. I’d much rather wait a little longer for a better/more finished product (without crunch-time on the studio’s part) than get a rushed and unfinished game that comes out on time.

And it’s not just the devs that catch crap for delays from the asshole/adult-sized-children/gamer demographic. How many times have reporters/insiders/bloggers taken heat for simply announcing a delay? I seem to recall a lot of “people” pissed off at Jason Schreier for that.

Fingers still crossed for a streaming/tv series from the original Phantasy Star games and/or a Disney+ show based on Knights of the Old Republic.

Yeah, but TOR was awful, and almost completely disregarded absolutely everything about the original 2, that I never considered it canon (even before Disney bought everything). On top of that, the Revan book that Karpyshyn wrote to bridge the gap between KOTOR2 and TOR completely shat all over everything that happened…

Hopefully this does well enough to warrant remaking KOTOR2, and then we can finally get 3.

100% agree. Origins → (Awakenings) → 2 → (Legacy) → Inquisition → (Trespasser). The best way to play any of the games is to play them all, start to finish.
