It seems as though the consensus here is that “it isn’t the burger that’s the problem, it’s that customers don’t want whatever else the restaurant is trying to sell.”

...and the burger could end up saving your life

i thought this was going to be about the various crumbled cheeses offered on burgers.

I feel like if someone goes to a restaurant and orders a burger.. They either want a burger or nothing else appeals to them and so they get the burger.

If you can’t sell burgers for a profit then don’t put them on the menu, if you put them on the menu and don’t make money off of them, then complain about it, you’re doing it wrong.

Only having just watched this I know what your doing. Take your star. 

It’s my understanding that a humble cheeseburger can really do wonders for the happiness of the chef. Especially, if the burger is made with American cheese. American cheese is the best cheese for a cheeseburger, because it melts without splitting.

Our favorite restaurant finally decided to do Saturday and Sunday brunch and created a fine and appropriate menu for that expectation.  Their burgers, all 3 varieties, are now there.  It's a true gastropub which maintains the popular best sellers but routinely rotates dinner menu around seasonal availabilities and…

I don’t personally care, because Wendy’s is one of the fast food places I avoid like the plague. However, I’ve got my popcorn ready, and I’m really looking forward to the shenanigans. 

Ah, we see you’re here for lunch. Well, we’ve decided to charge more for lunch items during lunchtime.

Wendys is already horribly, terribly overpriced for what you get, this is fucking hilarious.

When this gets installed, I’m going to just drive up to the window and wait until the price goes down. Can’t be busy and peak pricing when one person blocks the drive through for 45 minutes.

This might be a self fixing problem.  If everybody who says “I will never eat there again if they do this” follows through, then there will never be a surge.

They are really selling this all wrong. They should have announced lower prices during off peak house. 

If they do this, I would 100% never go there ever again.
