Call me nuts but maybe people want to work with them because of all the stuff that came before the crappy final season or two of GoT.

My vacation buddy and I have gotten pretty good with finding places via the internet but you definitely have to do your homework. Asking locals doesn’t hurt either, I have a friend who lived in Baltimore for years so when I went down last summer he recommended Mama’s on the Halfshell and it was friggen amazing. Way

One of my favorite things to do on vacation is to find good local places and stuff myself :)

A Caeser salad can be an amazing thing if done right - good cheese, in-house made croutons, a well-seasoned protein, fresh greens, and most importantly an in-house made dressing...sometimes you want something lighter than a ribeye or plate of pasta.

Oreo says that this is the first time it has ever put a hole in one of its cookies.

I was not expecting the Chloe Sevigny burn.

I had the same problem. Hinging everything on the killer’s ID is really tough anyway in the era of forensic fandom. Better to just tell a great story with characters that are compelling to spend time with. And maybe a little funny sometimes? The best dramas have a sense of humor and these kinds of things too often

I just can’t imagine any situation where “go out and get breakfast” is more appealing than “not doing that.”  If it was on the way to something, the choice between “stopping for breakfast” or “not devoting any time to that” it might be close.

I didn’t get the sense watching the last season that anything was unresolved. I’m sure the writers and producers had ideas, but I was satisfied with where Season 4 ended. They also claim that they weren’t making it up as they went along but seasons 3 & 4 absolutely felt that way, and I say that as a Westworld

Goddamn. Been trying to comment all day.

If more people are working from home, doesn’t it stand to reason that fewer folks are getting fast-food breakfasts and lunches? I mean, the research is comparing pre-pandemic to post-pandemic, right?

I can honestly go to Olive Garden for soup (the Zuppa Tuscana), breadsticks, and the Fried Ravioli with a side of alfredo sauce for dipping. Forget the main dishes, most of which are thoroughly uninspiring or disappointing. I’ll fill up on the other stuff instead. There’s just something about the raviolis and that

So I guess I am gonna be that guy, but really therapy?? It’s just freaking Chipotle like I have worked near retail, at gas station and for Pizza Hutt and Papa Johns, and sure customers can be a dick, but really, it’s just not that big a deal. It’s not 24/7 when you are on the job, by and large the people I dealt with

For the record, I’m not talking about myself, I haven’t been to Olive Garden in several years and there are better options near me. But there REALLY isn’t everywhere, not unless you’re into driving a while. I have also had local Italian that is worse than Olive Garden.

I expected an answer to the question posed by the headline. Aren’t you journalists of some sort? Investigate and find out the shit people want to know. We didn’t need an article with you asking the same question everyone else already was asking. I try to defend y’all sometimes but this level of hackery is just too far

Dr Baby’s response to you tells you everything you need to know about the way this discourse always plays out. If you don’t agree with the leaps in logic that it takes to arrive at “jokes = harm”, then you’ll be labeled a nazi. Modern progressive purity, via the toxicity of social media, is a bane on people’s ability

Not everyone has something local, for some people Olive Garden is the best Italian food around. I always think it’s funny when people say stuff like this and then follow it up with the fact that they live somewhere big and popular (like Los Angeles, in the article).

You dont think that the people that work there need money to live? Or spend it locally?
