Greetings all,
Here’s John Lee Hooker. The guy is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. With cool socks.
It really bothers me that, whenever people discuss the greatest rappers of all time, Pos from De La Soul is almost always left out of the conversation. In The Woods has one of the greatest lines I’ve ever heard: “Catch me breathin’ on planes where the gangsta’s outdated. Fuck being hard, Posdnuos is complicated.”
F’g awesome! Bringing it to Letterman. Love the fisheye lens in the vid. Watched and listened twice. Great post, dude.
The Beasties in MTV when MTV was real, back in the day.
Ran across this mashup of N.W.A. And Nirvana on YouTube. It’s called “Smells Like Compton.”
Bubble Puppy, Hot Smoke & Sassafrass, opening track from A Gathering of Promises.

I'll see your Bootsy and raise you Sly Stone.
Some old school funk, with the distinctive melody of The Brothers Johnson's "Strawberry Letter 23".
Thanks for the great old tune! I hope you'll start joining us more often again. Your passion for different genre's of music always adds a lot to DUAN!
One of my lifelong favorites, George Gershwin.
I've always loved the smooth and silky sounds of The S.O.S. ( Sound of Success) Band.
