not to put too fine a point on it, but when the beauty pageant contestants and the comedians are the ones calling out the racist and inflammatory rhetoric of our president and not, oh I dunno, OTHER GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, then there seems to be something deeply amiss with our country

Possibly slightly OT plus-size clothing complaint: I JUST WANT WORK/CASUAL BASICS. I don’t care about looking “hot”. I don’t need skintight shit that looks like I should be at the club. I love my bodacious ta-tas but am not interested in displaying them at the office. I just want regular, grown-up, non-adolescent,

For real. There are two in my backyard. I learned recently that they climb trees.

Basically anything that is current is blamed/attributed to millennials. There’s really no rhyme or reason for it.

If Cthulu doesn’t win, I’m calling it rigged.

Same here. I have a living room jungle thanks to Grandma & Ma’s houseplant offshoots.

Also makes a bomb-@$$ grilled cheese.

I’ve had a spider plant for about 10 years now, that was originally a baby spiked off of Grandma’s spider plant that was AT LEAST 40-50 years old. Couldn’t kill that damn thing if I tried, and it is conspiring with the philodendron (another of Grandma’s progeny) to take over my entire living room.

Yup. Mummo’s house is full of plants, my mom’s house is full of plants, my house is full of plants. Three generations of watching and watering like 60 pots scattered around, hahaha.

I still appreciate Zach Braff. I don’t get why people hate on him so much. Scrubs was a great fucking show and Zach was a huge part of that. I think he has a good sense of humor and is pretty self aware. Garden State’s biggest crime is the manic pixie dreamgirl trope and being too twee, but people act like it’s

I slip into my feminine and empower Evan to be in his masculine.

TBH, I just want clothing that my toddler son will agree to wear.

Won’t happen. What’s coded as “feminine” is still seen as inferior to what’s coded as “masculine”. It’s fine if a girl wears trousers and likes to play with trucks but the opposite? No way. The message being: what could be worse than liking “feminine” things? What could be worse than being a girl?

There’s that flow chart “How to tell if a toy is for boys or girls”.

Buttons switch sides between men’s and women’s (for classist reasons!), so I guess technically they designed it or way vs the other. The whole thing is redic. All children’s clothes are designed for wholly tubular bodies, i.e. the cut is the same. They should label them left and right handed instead!

Do they make those knit pant things in adult sizes? Asking for me.

I wonder if we will ever get to a time when boys are encouraged to embrace stereotypically “girl” traits/mannerisms, etc. For example, I’ve seen girls’ clothing with dinosaurs, but I’ve never seen any boys’ clothing with hearts, flowers, etc. You hear about programs to increase girls’ participation in math and

In past times it was completely normal to dress little boys in dresses until they were around 5. It helped with diapers, learning to use the toilet and there was no need to patch up the knees of pants that would get torn during play. Here is president Roosevelt.

Oh my God... If you don’t want to buy a dress for your little boy - don’t. Why would it be confusing?
