It’s not over the top challenge. They haven’t been marketing it as difficult, this move is a thematic choice based on the story/plot, not based on gameplay.

I haven’t seen a single review where the person actually lost their save though. Including one reviewer who really struggled, dying 18 times to the first boss and frequently throughout. It seems this is more for tension and, if it actually happens, you’d have to be nearly trying to have it happen.

I am so hyped for this concept. I’m ok with it since I know the game is fairly short, and from what I hear, combat isn’t too punishing. Beyond that, I love the kind of atmosphere it creates, and the weight it adds, and how it ties into the story. I also love how it drives home the fact that they are trying to do…
