In my experience, no they really don’t. They make unlikely promises that are inevitably broken but the vast majority govern exactly as they campaigned. The assholes usually promised explicitly to be an asshole.

I actually sort of agree re PFF, I’m always slightly skeptical of their ratings simply because they’re asking you to treat the opinions of random dudes as gospel. But as shorthand for “here are people who consume way more football than any layman could” I think PFF is fine.
