My freshman dorm wasn’t terrible, but it was naturally the oldest dorm on campus since freshmen haven’t earned shit. I had just graduated from a military high school that used old barracks for us to sleep in so going to another old and spartan building didn’t bother me. The only really bad part was the bunk beds. They

An sensible commuter car

I kinda agree that they shouldn’t be added to existing roads. I do however think they should build entirely different roads and pathways for bicycles.

Smart move. Thanks to those stupid TG events, for many years my dog would get upset if I sat down at the sim racing rig.

Ted Lasso seems to mind its car selection pretty well. The English footballers tend to drive English exotic cars. In the most recent episode, one is driving a Noble M600. It would have been easy to source some McLarens for them, and they do, but they went through the trouble of finding a niche English sports car that

And you know what the best part is? Polyphony can’t patch these out in an update.

Oh come on - any number of compromises are baked into modern automobiles. You might as well say the Porsche 911 isn’t a true sports car because most of them have back seats, and it’d really be faster if it was mid-engined. A preference to RWD is understandable, but to gatekeep FWD cars out of being performance cars is

“Being a mechanic and thinking that Chevy’s use Ford engines? This guy needs to find another profession.”

You know what I didn’t see, now that I’m going back through the ad? Any mention of the rear subframe mounts. This being a mid-run E46, they’re probably fine, but that’s really a killer on these. On the bright side, it’s easy enough to check for if you’re there in person and not such a big guy that you can’t slide

yeah, they’re nothing like BMW V8s of the era. The M54 itself is extremely reliable. Some of the accessories, a little less so. But the engine itself doesn’t pose any hidden worries.
