Always had a soft spot for this one. It’s probably nothing but childhood nostalgia, but to me it’s far more watchable today than the two that preceded it.

I won’t go as far as to say it was horribly boring, but the hype on that one was completely unwarranted and it only set me up to be let down. Might have to revisit it in a couple years and reassess...

The only “comic book movie fatigue” I’ve ever experienced is the shit show efforts and clown shoes dysfunction continuously coming out of Warner.

I damn near spit coffee on my monitor when I read this.

Haha. Don’t forget, “he is the blueprint”. Also, we’re “too simple to understand”.

And thank goodness he kept his dad bod in perfect dad boddery. Whatever sinister mystique Fett once had was honestly too much for this guy.

Seconded. I need to know more about Lao Che, his buddy Wu Han, and holy crap, there’s Dan Aykroyd! The exciting intro, characters, and unknown backstory is such brain candy you almost feel let down once they float up to the village river bank.

I wish that opening was the whole fucking movie, honestly.

Thanks for putting this great list together. My only quibble would be I wish there was a source reference on some of these characters (from: that one comic, from: such and such video game). Some of us old-heads are far behind on the new SW canon!

The grill never bothered me - the headlights, however, I’m not feeling. They don’t compliment each other. I get mixed messages whether or not it’s trying to be aggressive or elegant.

Right. And, correct me if I’m wrong because I don’t really interact with “gamers”, but nobody brags about what trophies they have do they? They just happen in the corner of your screen and you’re like “hmph, nice” and then it’s forgotten about.
