The little "whoo!" the bellboy made when Annie martini'd Jeff reminded me of the little joke in Anthro 101 where Jeff high-fives the priest. I loved it.

Yeah, this was actually the most reassuring ep of the season for me. Solid middle-of-the-road stuff that hit some great beats near the end.

I felt the tears come when Helen wrapped her arms around Amy and I almost never cry at television shows. It's just a perfect reminder that as strong as Amy tries to be, she's still a kid who needs affection and understanding more than anything.

For some reason I cannot get into hourlongs at all. This bridges the gap between comedy and drama perfectly. It's like nothing I've ever seen.

Just conjecture on my part, but it seems like this show is railing against a lot of the ingrained mentalities in American/world culture; that could lead some to dismiss it solely on those grounds. It's like how Krista flippantly dismisses Amy in season one just by calling her crazy…as long as she can invalidate Amy…

Tyler's ending monologue was crushing. Damn.

This was my favorite comedy since the premiere of Community way back in 2009. I understand why it was cancelled and I can't begrudge FOX too much, but man, shit sucks.
