Oh, what? Those gifted episodes, with their fancy LAPTOPS and THERMOSES?

I had to blink twice to confirm that the actor playing Matt Swan wasn't Joel McHale.

This was what I expected, sadly. :(

Just wondering, but does anybody want to share their Facebook handles? It feels like I'm on it way more than I am on the AVClub (thanks to my Internet provider banning it for "inappropriate content"), and I feel seriously guilty every time I end up popping in, like, once a month to talk to you guys.

That would be Unception.

This would make the song way better. Instead, we get Nicki Minaj and her smug/dumb wordplay.

I really don't care for this episode, but I agree wholeheartedly with this. Britta for the win!

Oh yeah, this is directed at @Loki100, but I finally finished the second half of Enlightened. You were right—I loved it. And I love Tyler. Poor Tyler.

I find it mildly offensive that so many pop songs talk about "showing somebody off," as if a person is just something you match your outfit to and dangle in front of other people.

That ether.

I HATE this episode. Like, seriously seriously hate it. It gets absolutely nothing done (in fact, almost every character REGRESSES), it's not that funny, and the ending is completely wrong for an episode of Community…almost forced, in a way. Even the ostensibly nice ending to the Britta plot only serves to blame her

I thought Deception's pilot was tolerable with some great scenes but really flat pacing and writing. The real reason I'm writing this comment, though, is because every time I see lead actress Meagan Good's name I think of that sketch from Key and Peele where Meegan's boyfriend is following her everywhere.

This post kind of reminds me of that time there was that contestant on America's Next Top Model who went on an epic rant culminating with "This is not America's Next Top Best Friend!"

BJ. Help. BJ. Help. Look back. Very good.

Pie's my jam. I've recently discovered chicken pot pie, and wow, it's so good.

I'll be around. :)

Nope, the swarms of people on Twitter/Facebook/other sites that hate on it. I have no idea what about this show fills them with such a sense of vitriol…
To be fair, it's peanuts compared to how Community was received in its later years (and I apologize if my earlier comment was poorly worded if that's how you read it)

It really does. Google "The Coming Revolt Of The Guards"; it's the third-to-last chapter, and I'd argue it's one of the best pictures of what America CAN be in the future that I've read. A lot of its impact depends on reading the whole book, but it stands very well on its own.
