His age was my concern too. It’s been a while since I read the comics, but Gardner felt more like a character in maybe his early thirties. Having him die and be replaced with Jordan or Stewart would make sense. Maybe even Rayner.

It’s so good that it’s almost a pity that Rogue One is the finale. Rogue One was pretty good, but it wasn’t Andor good.

I remember seeing a clip of it when it first aired, long before I actually watched Rebels, and remember thinking “that was it?!” I was vaguely aware of some of the history that developed between Obi-Wan and Maul in the animated shows, so I was expecting exactly one of those drawn-out, knock-down brawls.

It can not be understated how good Andor is. It almost makes me feel like we need a prequel, written by Gilroy, that shows what the others were doing pre- Rogue One....I hope that Andor S2 is NOT that except for Cassian. Seems like a waste of great potential if it is. But I still would watch the heck out of a Gilroy…
