“Seems you merely made the highest grossing movie of the year this time, as opposed to the highest grossing movie of all time.  What went wrong, folks?”

I should comment on somethkng comic book related , but DAMN! if the title didnt remind me how good Lonely Islands Pop Star! Never Stop Never Stopping! was:

I thought the it is all Singer, just during that time where the accusations, so they brought him in to direct Singer’s vision...

His age was my concern too. It’s been a while since I read the comics, but Gardner felt more like a character in maybe his early thirties. Having him die and be replaced with Jordan or Stewart would make sense. Maybe even Rayner.

the Muppets are printed directly on my soul

Nobody’s ever going to be what Mister Rogers was.

It’s especially easy to get emotional when you were one of those kids. The Dark Crystal was one of the first VHS tapes my family owned, and so deeply formative for my love of movies and fantasy, to say nothing of his other works.

I don’t like the three X-Men movies after First Class either, and maybe Vaughn’s version would have been better (the action sequences in the Kingsman sequels are still pretty great) but maybe not either - Fox meddled a lot with those movies, so its hard to say if Vaughn would have done a better job keeping them at

Nah, if it was the worst timeline they something truly terrible would have happened like Disney would have bought Bluey and ripped the heart right out of it.

This right here. War often causes principles to fall by the wayside, and to see Sisko struggle with what he and Garak did just shows how strong the principles in Trek are.

Fargo is one of the greatest crime movies of all time and deploys an interesting canvas of characters and performances.

I always think of John Carter (of Mars), which should’ve been paced like Raiders of the Lost Ark and not run over 100 minutes. Instead the filmmakers gave it like three framing devices and Carter didn’t get to Mars for over 30 minutes. In the book, which is barely over 100 pages, Carter gets there by the second

It’s an unpopular opinion, but I agree.

I’m perma-grey so I don’t know who will see this, but RE:editing? YES! I’ve been saying this for a few years now. These lengths are NOT necessary for these stories. I shouldn’t be begging high-octane action films to end, but John Wick has been taking me there since the second one. The pacing of these pop culture movies

So no justice for spider lady in this movie either? Not interested then.

I did like having more of McGregor as Obi-Wan, and especially how beaten down he was at the start, but as a whole the show just felt unnecessary. With the exception of the one scene that really managed to do what we’re talking about - as they’re escaping the Inquisitor base, Obi-Wan is really struggling to deflect the

Rogue One is not perfect by any means, but it’s solid entertainment and easily the best Star Wars movie since Return of the Jedi, maybe even The Empire Strikes Back. It’s just that Andor is so extraordinarily good that, to be honest, I would go even further than you: it absolutely is the single best thing Star Wars

It’s so good that it’s almost a pity that Rogue One is the finale. Rogue One was pretty good, but it wasn’t Andor good.

I remember seeing a clip of it when it first aired, long before I actually watched Rebels, and remember thinking “that was it?!” I was vaguely aware of some of the history that developed between Obi-Wan and Maul in the animated shows, so I was expecting exactly one of those drawn-out, knock-down brawls.

It can not be understated how good Andor is. It almost makes me feel like we need a prequel, written by Gilroy, that shows what the others were doing pre- Rogue One....I hope that Andor S2 is NOT that except for Cassian. Seems like a waste of great potential if it is. But I still would watch the heck out of a Gilroy
