This is excellent news for two reasons:

The TNG remaster added another 20+ years to the shows longevity. It was such a fantastic, remarkable show that still looks crisp and incredible now because of this. DS9 (and VOY to a lesser degree,) could have that too, if CBS was interested.

but tell me that, say, Ryan Coogler having prior experience with fight scenes didn’t make a difference.

I mean, the comics have already retconned his father to be Zheng Zhu., since they can’t use Fu Manchu.

I’d watch the hell out of Into the Marvel-Verse.

Nothing is wrong with Gambit.  Some people just think they sound cool but trashing stuff.

I get the bad timing for when their budget was slashed but I think Deadpool pretty much proved you can make a great and successful super hero movie on a small budget.
