I don’t doubt that HRC failed as a candidate. It’s true. It’s hard to compare to off cycles because many voters simply don’t even turn out in non presidential years. The people I mentioned either didn’t vote or voted straight D in those years.

Nope.  If a voter can’t see the difference between Trump and Biden, that’s on them.  I understand there were other candidates people liked, but a fucking dead cow is better than Trump.  The anti-Biden vote seems rooted in diva-esque spite.  Just like the Stein vote, the Nader vote, and all the others.  

It depends.  If it’s more than 60/40, sure.  But I have friends from PA and MI who went third-party in 2016 because they thought HRC had it locked.
