The biggest hitch in this case is that the Shelby GT500 Eleanor is not the car from the original movie over which she may or may not have character copyright over. Halicki tried to claim the GT500 Eleanor was a ‘derivative work’ but the court rejected that and said that the design and look of the car in the Nic Cage

The shooter was arrested that night. This announcement of the official charges being filed (which frequently happens at a later date than the incident itself).

It’s like going to Kia and buying a Soul and paying extra to get a spare tire only for them to take your money, give you no tire, and then tell you that the spare tire is just aspirational.

It’s even been several years since Musk said people who don’t buy Teslas now are stupid because they’re missing out on being able to rent out their cars as driverless Uber-like rentals while they’re at work or at home.

Who the heck would pay to ‘share’ my car anyway? You’d need a car to come get my car from where it’s usually parked (work or home), which would kinda defeat the purpose.

Living in a van down by the river.

I only recently got rid of my Audi keychain even though I sold the Audi it came with over 20 years ago and have not purchased another Audi since. So I was one of those people with merch for car brands I didn’t own for a long time.

I think it depends on the car to an extent, too. When we had 1st Gen Kia Souls a few years back, the interior space was plentiful even though it’s a pretty small vehicle while some other, larger cars felt more cramped.

It’s a perfectly cromulent movie.

I subscribed for some reason, but all I know I watch is Columbo.

They allege that they clearly communicated it now, after-the-fact. They can enter evidence to that effect if the suit gets that far. And I’m sure someone is going to want to depose whoever was on the other end of the phone call caught on video where the country club employee called right after the hole-in-one and

I constantly bother people on airplanes by making a random comment about my anticipated acceptance of my headwear by the people at our destination.

I mean, I didn’t see Tamlyn Tomita or Robyn Lively in “Hollow Man” or “The Saint”

That’s what was kind of interesting about the Mission:Impossible franchise. They give him the wife in III and then, in IV, Hawkeye gives that speech about not protecting them and the wife is thought to be a victim of the “killed off screen between sequels” curse only for them to have secretly split for her safety. And

My first car got about 150 miles to the tank, though a lot of that was my driving style and the fact that it was 1987.
