At one point in the early ‘90s, my sister told me that she very much wanted a Cadillac Allante. It was then that I knew she must’ve been dropped on her head as a baby.

I was surprised that my 2012 Passat had auto headlights, and my 2016 Jetta did not, which was actually a higher trim level than the Passat had been.

My 2019 Kia turns on the headlights going under many underpasses when set on auto.

Headlight enthusiasts who don’t care for the feel of the automatic lights and long for the day when a man had to take care of such things like turning on the headlights himself.

No, but same brand. I have an Optima.

My front collision warning is such a drama queen.

My Dad told me I had to learn on a manual because the truck he was giving me to drive was manual, though I did take my drivers’ test in my then-step-mother’s automatic Volvo.

See above.

“They” in that sentence was meant to refer to the dealership that did step up. Anyone else could have, but didn’t. So the one that did give the kid the car deserves praise.

I don’t know how that makes me right (I said they deserve some praise for the fact that they actually did it when any number of other dealerships could have but didn’t).

I’m sure the PR value they’ll get from this is far above what the car cost them.

Killing people in an office building taken over by thieves masquerading as terrorists during a holiday party.

But why would there be a Stormtrooper in the Sarlaac near where Boba Fett apparently fell in? There weren’t any Stormtroopers in the ROTJ scene where Boba slapsticks his way into the Sarlaac.

Thankfully, if you want the agribusiness and crop report, AM radio is still tops.

I had a 2016 Jetta. The VWnet connected services didn’t seem worth the cost, so I just skipped it. I don’t have the car anymore, but presumably it would still work in all the ways I used the car after the 3G is shut off.

It’s a very screwy situation.

Isn’t having done ‘Veronica’s Closet’ enough?

After all, this is not ‘Nam.

I’m waiting for the “Evil Under the Sun” adaptation starring Chris Noth, Louis CK, and Kirstie Alley.

He does appear to have a large debt with the Texas Attorney General, according to his bankruptcy filings. These are usually child support-related.
