It’d be cheaper and easier to just move to Mexico.

No knob shortage.

My Dad had a (new at the time) maroon ‘88 Callaway twin-turbo Corvette convertible as his secondary car. It was in the shop a lot. But at the time, it was a cool car and, I thought, looked appropriately cool.

People who adore the second amendment don’t seem to care much about the others (or outright hate some of the others).

The thing I liked most about taking the train to downtown Dallas when I was regularly going there was not having to worry about parking. I don’t think I saved any time making the trip, and I still had to have a car to get from my home to the train station (my particular suburb does not have bus service).

There is no regulatory agency that has jurisdiction over firearms in the same way that prescription drugs, automobiles, or consumer products are regulated.

As a fellow ‘Riding With Death’ fan, you can imagine how excited I was when my daughter made friends with a girl whose dad’s name is Ben Murphy.

If Cujo attacks, you get in the nearest Ford and wait it out. Even a Pinto can hold off a rabid St. Bernard, though it would be better to be inside one that will start so you can at least run the A/C.

Investigating detectives should never try to shape a witness narrative. He’s perfectly able to put into the report that he doesn’t believe the shooting would have been visible from the witness’ vantage point, but challenging the witness directly is an active attempt to taint the investigation and, in this case,

Why deal with that when you can focus on pulling people over in pretext stops and harassing them?

Isn’t it the batteries that get you to 300-mile range what largely drives up the cost?

My 2016 Jetta had headed seats. Living in Dallas, I thought it was kind of ridiculous, but they were included with the trim level, so I wasn’t paying extra just for heated seats.

I am only on my second car to have auto headlights, and I have discovered that I like the feature a very good bit/

I think the answer to that can be found in Harry Tasker’s response to his wife asking him if he’d ever killed anybody.

The 2012 Passat I had for about two years went through DRL bulbs something crazy. The 2016 Jetta I replaced it with wasn’t nearly as bad but it still required changing them three or four times (and one taillight bulb) during the four years I had the car.

I’ve only seen two Rolls Royces in the wild in recent years. One at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Plano, Texas and one at the Wal-Mart in Murphy, Texas.

I very much hope that restaurants keep their curbside delivery systems in place. I like that a lot.

I use DoorDash during busy season at the office for lunch, and I have found it slightly annoying that the tip is upfront. There have been several times when I would’ve tipped more if I knew how good the service was going to be. In my personal experience, the times when I don’t get good service (very, very few times),

It certainly makes the “build your own” section of the US manufacturers’ webpages largely useless.

I had a 2002 Altima, and I liked it. A lot of the materials seemed cheap on the interior, but it was a car that looked a little different, was mostly comfortable, decently equipped for the price and actually drove pretty well (and had a manual transmission, which was still relatively common then).
