I think the implication here is that most people are aware of how corrupt Arianna Huffington is and would rather stab themselves in the eye than read an article about her. Myself, I’m just here to comment surf and mock.

Who cares?
Who else but women and minorities would agree to work for free?
Or feemale.
Did you guys pay her for this? Or was she compensated in “exposure”?
“....What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
From my mother: “Angels fly because they take themselves lightly.”
From my computer: “you know you can go to various websites, copy their text, and paste it elsewhere, don’t you? “ <a light goes on inArianna’s head>
Huffington works?
They are the same price, roughly similar speed in a straight line and on track, except if you wanted a cheap autoX/track toy the Miata would need a rollbar/cage to compete in most events while the BRZ doesn’t have that issue as a coupe. Plus you can fit 4 full size track tires inside, since those rear seats are better…
Same here, I’ve been dailying the shitty single-cam carb version of the original 86 for close to a decade. The BRZ/FR-S feels like a rocketship by comparison to my maybe 70HP to the crank on a good day Corolla.
Toyota 86 starts at $26,255 weighs ~1,000lbs less and costs half as much to insure. Its not really a realistic cross-shop even if you want more power.
i’ve driven cars from 90hp to 500, and i think the 86 is fine the way it is. the only way to really experience that car is flogging it down tail of the dragon. most of these keyboard warriors will never understand the appeal of the 86, and thats okay.
Exactly. They wanted a pure, inexpensive sports car with a manual, but they’re too lazy to downshift to keep the engine from bogging.
27k vs 35k. Maybe the difference is pocket change to you, but not to most people.
1LE starts at 35k.
43k vs 27k.
According to the screenshot you just posted, it’s also $10k more to start and nearly $20k more as tested.
Seriously. Where are the droves of journalists and internet commentariate that are up in arms about power output of the Miata? Here’s the Jalopnik timeline for the 86.
I have to cosign this.
You got it all wrong...
