Thanks for the clarification. I would think the Stig did a lap in the Eagle Low-Drag coupe too, btw: Eagle posted here that their "Stig time" was 1,27.5 and shared a few pictures about the shooting on their facebook

matt, you're the best eic i ever met. this is insanely cool. and i need some popcorn, in case Jeremy answers your call
Well, that makes it a bit more understandable, i mean the part where he's enraging BBC bosses all the time. Still, I would say his name is absolutely synonymous with Top Gear, i think he would lose a lot of his "personal brand" would it be cancelled.
Jeremy was on a final warning anyway, so i guess even if this turns out to be a non-issue, it could still prove to be the straw that broke the camel. While we get all hyped-up about missing the show "because of the BBC" I would note that in recent years a season lasted around 6 episodes, and we already got 7 this time…
No, that's exactly the point. Clarkson was already in last-chance-saloon, because of all those instances of offence. If this punch would have been a first, there would have not been consequences, at least not this significant.
Good job Tesla Model S has borrowed this shifter from Mercedes.
You didn't watch the video before posting this, did you?
3.) Volkswagen Golf GTI (Mk1)
Oh i thought you meant the Mountine version. My bad, you do have a point there.
They must have meant "from factory", especially as it's a Honda... i mean at least some of those ricer Civics must have something done to the propulsion too, no?
Yes, and asking BMW to make one based on their previous (M1...?) would have made some sense too. But Honda...? I bet no one back then, that had enough money to buy a Ferrari ever wanted to spend it on a Honda.
I would love to say the Porsche Cayenne, but let's not kid ourselves - I am quite certain, loads of rich people wanted something "like a Range Rover, but a bit sportier and more German". However, on the other end of the scale, there's this:
Neutral: Would You Buy A Subaru? If you were in the market for a new car would you at least cross-shop it?
A Becker Mexico old-style with nav has been available for a while... Also, a suction-cup mounted holder for your phone when you need a nav, and a proper map when you are out for a great drive - what's wrong with those?
Interesting, that yesterday i too posted about the very same episode, and came to mostly the same conclusions. One difference though, and not a little: i found this missing originality in the other times not that very interesting SIARPC.
To be fair to GM, when they introduced the Corvette to Europe, they left off the Chevy part, as that brand meant Korean cars previously known as Daewoo at the time. So in the market, where Corvette isn't looking back to more than 50 years of history, they already did this.
I completely agree with you, this should be left auto. If a swap's possible or not, i'm not sure it is, so you might just have a point, even though the bell housing detaches from the BA7 too. Let's just leave it at that, and hope you get another 505 someday :-)
I *think* the BA7 manual (the other is called BA10) fits both the injection engines and the Turbo, and the injection engine was available in the wagon. So in theory, you should be able to solve the puzzle, by getting a manual wagon with the 2.2i engine, and then simply swapping the complete transaxle. I'm not user…
As a 505 owner, let me chime in on this. TL:DR it's NP, but only just.
Could certainly be. For me, the continental European type, it's certainly the more enticing of the two. Exhibited by the fact that i have already driven an Integrale, but i am yet to even ride shotgun in a Skyline.....
