$10 says it won't be AWD, but otherwise, as someone who also had the luck to drive the last RS, i concur. Interesting that a little detail - the 5pot sound - made the car ooze character. If every single bolt would be the same, but with the 2.3 ecoboost, it would be worse, i fear. That sound is simply all-encompassing.

Squeeks and rattles. If you use materials that are softer to begin with, and resist age, sunlight and temperature variations better, your interior will hold together much-much better over the years. No wonder it's a good feeling to sit inside an 1988 BMW or Merc, while the rest of the car populace from that year...

It is Effing awesome, but at 40k i would also say Eff that.

So does half the list. 928, 912, 924, 944? Used Boxster / Cayman?

Ahem.

I remember reading you last week and thinking you're not even joking about this Ferrari issue, you're really sad. It's the same this week Doug, the one who plays with cars - you've been moved by this, just not in the way everyone expected.

So, you want a midship-RWD Japanese small-but-sporty car from the '80s, that'll fit a K20 or 24? How about one that's been, you know, factory-engineered to have nice MR handling?

Yes exactly that's what i wrote. The cali is not the GT in the Ferrari lineup - the GTs are the 612 and the FF.

That's actually a very good question, but one impossible to answer with anything resembling certainty. Let's still try!

Nah, that's the FF and the 612 scaglietti before that...

I actually agree with 9/10th of this list, but i think you misunderstand the Range Rover. Yes, it is much more capable off road, than the owners would ever care to try, but they aren't bought for off-road cred either. They are bought as the finest all-weather luxury car around, with the goal of maximising comfort and

Basically yes, with a few exceptions that still get modded and driven hard in numbers, like the Mustang or the 240Z. However, there are lot of classics only people caring about cars notice - therefore they aren't good for posing. This one? Every single person you pass will gawk.

I might get a stoning for this one, but i would say C2.

I would even go and say i like Toyota seats too, though i rate Volvo seats higher myself. However, this is all beside the point, as Volvo seats do not have side bolstering worth mentioning, whereas a Supra seat should be amply equipped to handle lateral G forces - remember, this is a drift/hoon project. So there is

Imported from Germany too, if that D on the trunk is to be believed.

That wasn't the question though - this isn't supposed to be nice.

AW11 MR2

I did a lot of starting up hills in traffic with that too. If the car is light, it's much less of a problem.

Now playing

um, i saw it on this one - the handles on the ITBs move a lot in the video... this shoudl start at 4:26, there's one take with that at 4:27

abso-effing-lutely. It's light, it has very good weight distribution and it hasn't got that much power, which makes it very tracktable on snow. I would love to drive it on studded tires in the swedish north....
