Those are well made choices if you ask me - straightforward, purposeful, no-nonsense cars, that are better built, better equipped, safer and faster than their cheaper brethren. And not bling. I would say, those are the understated choices, so i can't really see what's your problem with them. Other than not being able

Mercedes B-Class 2012. Yeah, i know its usable, but bear with me. It does not differ from your garden-variety Toyota Verso or Renault Scénic in any significant way, only it has worse engines, is less practical, isn't more comfortable or less noisy, doesn't drive any better, and hasn't got any special technical details

You never heard of the 318d then...

There is a diesel version of that in Yurrup. That's even worse.

I do have to call your bluff there. I drove the Coupe version of this, you know, the one with the 'stars' in the roof lining and it is an extremely cosseting way to move around. Yeah, it does flaunt you're richer than Dagobert duck, but at least it really is as good as it looks to be, and has zero pretensions.

I dunno. I remember being underwhelmed-to-downright-annoyed by Porsche for calling this "all-in" special edition a Speedster, whereas every Speedster before has been a stripped, "all-out" version. So even tho the photograph in itself is nice, i would rather refrain from calling this car awesome.

Hey, are there people genuinely voting NP on this??? Or are you jalopnik staff pulling a fast one on us? I mean come on, even one single piece of those stick-ons is a deal breaker, and this guy not just went waaaay over the top with them but also wants money, and not less, but even more money than the market value

That's a very cruel way to go. Discarded on the hard shoulder, picked apart by scavenger crows... poor old Lupo, you deserved better.

there's nothing wrong with an MR-2, and i do think you'd be hard pushed to come up with a totally original car design, even freaks (in a good way) like the Veloster have bits and parts that you've already seen elsewhere. However, Porsche is supposed to only use their own design heritage, and the MR-2 W30 is exactly

Even though there are fails in this car, the price seems just about right for what it is. Had this come up registered in my country for that cheddar, i would be heading in the sellers' general direction right now.

It is lovely, and on the factory promo video has a deep sounding engine just like a 911, not the high pitch ye olde Boxsters had. However, there is one slight problem: the front reminds me of the last gen mr2.

I have no problems with a 4age Corolla, even less so when its 'charged. Neither have i any problems with scoobies' finest. However, a Corolla masquerading as a WRX? That's instant crack in my book, whatever the price.

I just read TG reporting on this car, and it seems you might be right and i might be mistaken. Why did they use the same rear-end though, if that's the case?

As i wrote, this is the mk4 Mondeo chassis, that first premiered in Yurrup in 2007, so we already have it. I don't think we'll get the USDM nosejob, as the Mondeo got facelifted for 2011 the next step should be an all new car a few years from now. As for the engines, they are European engines, so we already have both

So, you guys finally get the mk4 Mondeo, on sale in Yurrup since 2007? Interesting.

A hat tip? Well I'm chuffed. Right good cheers all around.

OK, here's the thing. I like the Peugeot 505 and the Ford Granada II (european) at the same time. However, the neither had a coupe version - there was a 2-door sedan granada for a cuple years in germany, but that's it.

I am not from your shores, and as such am not head-over-heels about a vintage Firebird. With this out of the way, i have to say, the idea itself is appealing to me - this is what BMW pretends the X6 to be, while that's anything but, so in a way, this is a huge up-yours to those over-pretentious car producers our

If it has 5 seats, its a "Break". If it has 7-8 seats (=third row in the boot) its a "Familiale" This does not necessitate any other change, only the seating counts - see Peugeot 505, which had both in the very same body, with the very same engines.
