I'd put the RS2 up top, 'cause a fast V8 merc sedan there was before, but Audi broke brand new ground, when instead of 200 Avant Turbo Quattro 20V, they called their insanely fast wagon simply RS2.

Now you're talking. Even nice coupes of this vintage command as high prices around where I live, and this is a one-off too, with seemingly respectable build quality, plus that straight-6 2.8 is just as its name suggest: straight. So I would say, this is a deal!

I got to say, you nailed this, the RS2 Avant is the best in this class. There where other -porsche collaborations, notably the similarly insane Merc 500E, but this beats them all.

Well, that really is an easy one. I think there isn't a single novelty in this car, that hasn't caught on, though some took 30-40 years. Adaptive suspension, adaptive headlamps, semi-auto gearbox, just to name a few.
