Right. And will i get included in GMs famous retirement schemes too, for the work hours i put into their product...?

@solomonrex: now that would be something new. A luxury hatchback in the us market...? Would that work, even with the LS up fornt...?

I am a sucker for big old German saloons, as my just-bought '89 Audi 100 testifies, and and old 7 is a statement on its own - let alone with a paintjob as controversial as this. Throw the solid-looking interior into the pot, and I am all set: direct me to the cashiers' please. Nice price!

Bruno Saby in the BMX x3 Rally-Raid. A legend on my lift, an extreme engine around me - what else can i ask for...?

@Enginseer: Here too, but only in hands of enthusiasts - funny thing how this car became subject to hoonage.....

I really don't see why the Delta would be mediocre. Yep, there are things that go wrong with it, and there are things, like infotainment, that some find overcomplicated, but hey, there isn't a hatch here in Europe that's as stylish as this one, and the rear legroom is exceptional - because they used a basic Fiat hatch

And then finally, when i was twelve, and big enough to reach the pedals on my own, i learned to drive in one of these: 1.6 fourpot, four on the floor, red with beige interior, no optional extras whatsoever. It was a lovely car, and easy as pie to drive in the field... Talk about evolution ;-P

However, my first drive, four or five years old, in the lap of my dad, was in one of these. Could be said, that first drive infected me badly.

I've been driven home from hospital in one of these. Not that started anything car-related, mind...

@morepowerigor: Neither. Read an article about it lately, thus knew what to google for ;-)

Wow, i'm impressed. This is something that should cross the pond this way, maybe in exchange for a few Focus RS? FoE doesn't do on-board infotainment remotely this good....

Wait a minute. Are those front lights from a 260Z...?

@GeeHalen: with opel and vauxhal being all but identical, it would make sense to only shoot the one, and PS the other, seeing how cash-strapped GM is......

@calzonegolem: Saves space no end though, that spare tire in the engine bay. Maximum boot and rear space for the size, as my '92 Lancia Y 10 testifies.
