This ep was some good shit. It's weird to see a "normal" kid from Connie's school. Do people still name their kids "Jeff" tho? Wouldn't it be 10x more likely that Connie beat up a Jayden or something?

Is there any reason why Steven hasn't introduced Connie to any of his many friends and all their adventures are private excursions? She's going into 7th grade. Does she still have no friends? I feel like she should have gained enough confidence adventuring with Steven to make normal school friends.

Wowie! I loved this episode. I'm surprised people didn't like it. When you keep in mind Peridot called herself "the new leader of the Crystal Gems" it makes sense that her defeating Jasper would give her an enormous head. Peridot's perception of her shitty metal powers as on par with the other gems is comedy gold.

Loved these 2 eps. Loved them so much! Peridot's joke metal powers poofing beast monster Jasper popped me real hard. It reminded me of when Yajirobe neutralized giant ape Vegeta by slicing his tail in DBZ.

I think most viewers would agree with you. Lars is really shitty in a mundane and relatable way. I’m sure many viewers have experienced some insecure and miserable teen boy being ashamed of them in real life.

This was a WHAM episode! I didn't think kids cartoons could be about abusive relationships but also funny.
Now that I know it's a thing that can be done. It re-contextualizes the entire LarsxSadie ship. Holy fuck! You're so shitty to each other! Run away! Meet other people!

Anybody else think it's weird that Connie (as of Full Disclosure) still has no friends besides Steven. It's especially noticeable since Steven is friends with the whole town. One would think that Steven would introduce her to his many drag racing enthusiast buddies.
