Don't forget Cuba Gooding Jr's. masterpiece 'Life of a King'.

I finished reading a book I had picked up on impulse called Dawn of Wonder by Jonathan Renshaw. It's a fantasy, coming-of-age tale, but it's really well written. I really enjoyed it, especially after slogging my way through The Eye of the World again for some insane reason.

I've always been glad I saw the The Big Lebowski in theaters. I still remember the scant crowd in the theater at the time never laughed once. After it was over I was thinking "What the fuck did I just watch?"

Sokolov from Neal Stephenson Reamde is one of my favorites. That dude was a badass.

Did you ask her about Origin Story? I've been interested in seeing that ever since I say the teaser trailer years ago. What's the holdup?

I don't care who plays me in the movie of my life. But please let Alfonso Cuarón direct it. If Cuaron isn't available get Terry Zwigoff.

I would love to see the soundtrack of Requiem For Dream go back-to-back with the soundtrack from Black Swan. You know, kind of a Darren Aronofsky double team.

I never minded Jack. Locke, on the other hand, I always found annoying. His whole "trust the island" true believer smugness was annoying. I was glad when he found out what a giant sucker he was.

Did I read that right? He hates Linda because she puts her kids in danger? He is aware this is a cartoon isn't he?

I'm going to try and finish what I start. As I get older my attention span for books, TV series, and games is shrinking. I find if there's even the tiniest hint of dithering or navel gazing I put it aside and move on to the next thing that grabs my attention.

After a while, going alone will become your favorite way to see movies. I don't mind gong with people, but there's something great about watching a movie by yourself. Especially if it's in a near empty theater.

I wonder if it was more difficult to be a gay man or gay woman back in this time period? I feel like women might have had a bit of an easier time - but I may be talking out of my ass. It just seems like two women living together would be more socially acceptable, and easier to explain, at the the time, then two men

I took it as more literal meaning - a rhinoceros is this unstoppable force that charges forward.A short-sighted animal that thinks the best way to solve a problem is to run right at it. There was a lot of charging toward conflict this episode - like those shots of the cars lined up on the highway driving to kill

I felt like episode four was kind of where the nickle dropped for me. I was kind of lukewarm on season 2 so far, but the last episode has gotten me excited to see where things are headed.

I think it's pretty clear who Abe List is. Woods was in a little movie called 'Cat's Eye' that had a story where a troll was killed by a cat that belonged to ……DREW BARRYMORE!

I think if you watched the first two episodes of each season back to back you would see what I mean by pacing. They just seemed to handle it better in the first season then they have in the second season so far.

One thing I'm having trouble with this season as compared to last is just the general pacing - and I think these repeated scenes are a big part of that. Last season it seemed like they weren't afraid to just follow one character or story thread around per episode - so you got your Lester episodes, your Molly episodes

After reading her book "Yes Please" I liked Poehler a little less. But she was pretty great in 'Inside Out'

Have you tried Sanderson's 'Stormlight Archive' series? I've been bored of fantasy for a while now, but these books really grabbed my attention. They might not have the heft of the Malazan books, but the world building and pacing is top-notch.

Dickens is an author that should be read at a young age.The older you get the less patience you have for his goody-goody protagonists. I loved reading Dickens when I was 17 through 23. Now - not so much.
