The 6-speed automatic is the same 4-speed we used to suffer with? Really? What's that, new math?

I'll say it because nobody else will: The Chrysler 200 (especially the drop-top) is now a MUCH MUCH MUCH better car than the Sebring was just 3 years ago. Sure, it's on the same platform, but the platform wasn't the weak spot- it was always the interior, the crummy powertrain, and the ass-awful hodgepodge of styling

This nonsense is so far out of hand — here in DC not a week goes by when I don't get a nice 3-4 block detour from the Metro to the office because some 4th grader forgot a backpack on the street corner. Without fail, the bomb squad gets called, and we get a front-row seat for Security Theater as the bomb-sniffing robot

The new US Fusion basically is the Mondeo, only without turbodiesel availability here in the States. Wait til you see it on the street.

Right. Because any money spent in a city that's on its knees, is automatically wasted. You make a fairly good point here, but it's a shame you have to start out by being a dick.

Too bad nobody here in DC has the balls to say "let's throw some grant money into replacing the existing streetlights with energy-efficient solar capacitors with LED lighting." The city could reclaim any copper wire left in the existing lamp poles (if any of it is still there), and the...

I discussed this with a Porsche Motorsport representative at Sebring, watching the Porsche Cup cars going round the circuit. I (half-jokingly) chided him about how his spec-racer series was effectively a German version of NASCAR, but he countered that in his series, the Porsche controls the engines, too.

And look what good that did for Zima. :)

I live 2.6 miles from the nearest UPS depot. I could have literally rolled over in my sleep to get it faster than they brought it to me. What can Brown do for me? They can send me back to USPS. :)

It's not a "USPS is inefficient" thing, it's a "this is what all shipping companies (USPS, UPS, FedEx) do to ship as cheaply as possible" thing.

All 209,800 miles (so far) are mine, the hard way.

It's still a pretty viable lappy. Boost that RAM to its full 8 GB, maybe refresh the OS (backup, blow the drive, reinstall, restore) and she'll feel like new.

There are noy many spellcheckers, too!

"... before it was completed engulfed in flamed."

Want. Leave it to a US Defense Contractor to create the Ultimate White Van.

Jesus wept.

Wait, we "lost" money on the Chrysler loan? What, the interest rate wasn't high enough when it was paid back in full?

The correct answer is the DS, but we have enough fantastic examples posted already.

Ah yes, that's Tiffany. Which reminds me, time to download some *images* that don't suck, from my camera...

Fucked On Race Day.
