I can almost remember when I thought that guy was cool.

Both of my 200,000-mile Neons say "bite me." :)

"You owe me a 40 MPG car."

That kid is not my son...

Well... it's no "Thriller."

This is where other peoples' kids come in handy. Give 'em your phone (preferably with the keypad locked), and tell 'em "now, go run all over the mall, go wash your hands in every restroom, and when you get done visiting EVERY store I'll buy you an ice cream."

There you have it: The intro to Forza 5.

+1. Fang-tastic.

How quickly everyone forgets, the '90s was the Decade of the Viper.

That's a side-effect of LED taillights being shot in HD - if you watch Top Gear you'll notice the same, at times. The "Leader Lights" in ALMS are color-coded 3-light columns on the sides of the cars, just forward of the rear wheels.

This is New York we're talkin' about. THE Big City. There's no reason why a shuttered GM or Chrysler plant somewhere can't be cranked up to reproduce modern versions of the old Checker Cabs, equipped with a clean new diesel/electric hybrid motor and room for 4-6 passengers in the rear. Why let London have all the fun?

You get one back for the sweet ACR logo!

I own a pair of first-gen Neons, each with over 200k on the clock. Not just solid, but can *still* deliver the occasional "you got served by a Neon" at the stoplights, still gets 35 MPG, still is inexpensive as hell to own and maintain, still fun to drive...

Senna knew no fear on the track, would risk life and limb to gain or hold position, yet stop and exit his car to assist a fellow racer who crashed. He earned cubic tons of money, and gave most of it away to help impoverished children in Brazil. $400 Million, at least.

Now playing

Wolverine, my ass. That firefighter's a honey badger: Firefighter doesn't care, firefighter just keeps on spraying.

Fussy little nitpick: USGS pegged the quake at 5.8 which doesn't *sound* too far from a 6.0, except that a 6.0 quake would've been a LOT more damaging. I live about 75 miles from the epicenter of today's quake, had my house rocking like John Force was doing a tune-up in the garage around 13:52 today, and... net result

Amen.

Look up "poll tax."

I live in Fairfax County, VA, and have never had to produce ID in order to cast a ballot. Nor did I have to when I lived in MD.

I'm about 99.5% certain it's a chop job... but it's a rather stunning chop job. Even if it's a "fake," I'd still have a poster of it in my garage.
