My girlfriend and I both really loved when they invented their own Doctor Who version. Me because I loved Doctor Who, and enjoyed seeing a parody of it, and her because she hated it, and thought that it nicely showed how ridiculous it was.

Just because that guy hasn’t watched it doesn’t mean it isn’t terrible. I have, because my former coworkers were into it, and I HATED it. For me, the problem isn’t that the jokes are about nerds. It’s that the jokes ARE nerds. For instance, the I.T. Crowd makes jokes about the way Roy plays a video game

Some people can’t help invading your space due to size, and that’s just the risk you take when you fly.

I would say that most of the time you won’t hear stories like this because people are too weak to admit that they made a mistake the first time and took someone else’s advice to make it better.

I really thought the title read plot and I was trying to figure out why the producers were being so hard on the bad plot choices they’ve made.

So basically you’re too dumb to read anything short of “hulk smash bad monsters.”

Okay, I’ll accept the label of ass. But...

Well that’s not a very nice thing to say.

Eh... I kinda feel like this article should have mentioned that her visits were not always successful. “She let the baby choke on Goldfish crackers; she didn’t hold on to her as she went down the playground slide; she didn’t grab her as she ran toward the street — even though the toddler was less than an arm’s length

An intellectual disabiliy is different than a physical disability such as blindness, though.

I think it’s okay to offend adults when children are involved. No child deserves to be treated like a learning experience for an adult who isn’t competent.

She can read while enough to pass an English state exam but she can’t read an analog clock. To be honest, I know a number of kids who don’t have disabilities who can’t read analog clocks.

As someone who is physically disabled by a genetic condition that makes it IMO unethical for me to knowingly risk passing it on to a child (I had a daughter before I was diagnosed/had any clue), I find this to be just another extension of what I have faced in terms of wanting to adopt. My health precludes me,

Sigh. I have a learning-disabled parent with a below-average IQ. Not 70, but not great. I have a lot of feelings about this article but I’ll sum it up with, “I think intellectually disabled people can be great parents, but they are also not always ideal parents and their children will face many, many hurdles that go

Just like practical effects, there is CGI that’s good and CGI that sucks. How many times have you heard about practical effects “that just looks like a guy in a rubber suit”? The best CGI these days is so subtle that you don’t even know it’s there, and it’s everywhere. They use it to fill out crowds in sports

It’s like choosing between Batman and Superman when the alternatives are the Joker and Lex Luthor. Either would be fine!

it’s not wise to believe “it’s ok for cops to crack the skulls of people I don’t like,” ‘cos eventually they’ll find or be given a reason to crack your skull.

The thing is, when the answer to “who can I get away with paying less to” is almost always the woman then it likely that systemic sexism is at least one of the root causes (even if there are other justifications that can be used for indivifual situations)

I’d argue she is actually more famous than duchovney now. Especially after Hannibal and The Fall. Other than Californication, has Duchovney done anything of note? Not to mention she hasn’t had any addiction problems, is generally a better actress, and somehow managed to Benjamin button herself.

Early this morning while buying bananas and milk from my local Walmart before work, i was in the check out line and the women before me was having trouble with her debit/credit card. The person behind the counter made some rude comment about making sure money is on the card before coming in line and the woman stepped
