Stockholm is calling. They want their syndrome back.

It’s hilarious because football was the last bastion for the right-wing hate machine. They already lost NASCAR because they were too “woke.” They already lost Disney because they were too “woke.” They already lost Apple and Microsoft and Sony because they were too “woke.” It’s only a matter of time before they realize

You got to embrace the Sunday morning hate watch while you make breakfast or fold laundrey.

The problem with this show is the writers. Weekend Update is ok, but the sketches (not “clips” - who calls sketches clips? Clips are selections from a movie or show that are shown on a talk show or the news) are uniformly bad. The cast is very good, but they have terrible material to work with.

In the classic “sketch went on way too long” tradition of SNL, the Big Dumb Cups sketch eventually became a literal ad for the fucking thing.

It’s insane how consistently bad this show has become.

Cone on, if an episode ever deserved an F this was it. It’s also bizarre that they’d let an asshole like Timberlake be on the show. But if you are buddies wiht Lorne he doesn’t care how much of a prick you are to people (see Alec Baldwin).  The audience gushing over him in the monologue was gross.  The only

I’m starting to think, and hear me out on this, that a 79-year-old producer might not be the best arbiter of what’s funny.

just breaking down the idea that you just don’t hear that from men often, that they would express an emotion that makes them vulnerable,” -

For fuck’s sake, not everything is about Gaza and abortion rights in the US are are already threatened enough, the issue doesn’t need to be held hostage by the war in Gaza.

The only thing I care about is avatar. No. Not the movie. Give me back my effin’ avatar!

Yes, skill at making the least punk rock garbage music to have ever claimed to be punk. He’s always been shitty and talentless.

In 2009 that still seemed far fetched that women in their early 20's would want to be following U2 around. Even in 1999 it wasn’t that realistic. I remember the Saved by the Bell where they were waiting for U2 tickets, and I was like who tf would go thru all that for U2?

This episode made me wish the Writers were still on strike.

Out of the Blue

That makes sense. Just really enjoyed her performance in the show overall. Georgie was always fine but I was not a big fan when episodes focused on him.

And, keep in mind, Happy Days itself was a spin-off.

I kind of like how a lot of spin-offs used to work. Some cousin or teacher or alien shows up out of the blue for one or two episodes and then, bang, they gotta a whole show about them in which their origin is almost never again mentioned unless the ratings are crap.

George of the Youngle?

Missed opportunity, this could have been a slideshow.
