The game isn’t ready to be f2p. More fixes are needed before this can happen. Tomorrow, can’t just come and they’re like time for f2p. It doesn’t work that way.

They were trying to make a new IP. If you want another Borderlands game, just wait for Borderlands 3. Also, just so you know because it may sway you. They are releasing new dlc next month, with more eventually following it. It will include story dlc and will have to deal with collecting gear. Much like

Going free 2 play helps just about every game that is lacking in players. I mean look at evolve. They had an average of 100 players on the previous 2 months before going f2p.

...all you have to do is level up, or complete a mission. Really not hard to do at all. It is the same with say Call of Duty, where you used to have to level up to get a weapon, and then complete challenges to unlock new attachments. Not really a new feature at all.

Some maps are poorly optimized, the Jennerit maps. Sad, but true. AMD users also have to turn a few settings off because the game uses PhysX for Nvidia users. Can’t say I agree though about the whole short bursts. I can play Battleborn all day, everyday, which I have in fact been doing. Overwatch is polished. Imo

It is welcomed honestly. They will probably do something for the people that paid for it before it goes f2p to thank them for their support. The people that are still playing Battleborn, especially on PC, love the game. We just want more people online at all times.

Gearbox doesn’t get to decide the pricing.

But you also have to realize that Duke Nukem was passed around so much. They just polished it as much as possible. It was a turd when they received it.

A publisher decides a game’s release date. Not the dev. 2K is to blame for the release date

Publishers decide the release date. Not the dev.

No that isn’t how it is. You can buy the season pass and use a key on the new character to unlock them instantly, OR you can use in game credits that you get from pvp, pve, and selling gear to purchase the character.
